ok I have been noticing in some 1v1 fights that the crosshair is out of wack and doesn't line up I cant for the life of me hit a player who is on my right although I swing right thru them it does no dmg and I die looking like a noob, Also the crosshair is on a odd angle to interact with certain things I have to move all over around and above below just to find the spot that it actually highlights what im trying to do,
Anyone else having this issiue because as it stands now I switchewd to a healing staff in pvp despite having all my first 10 lvls in 2handed as a nord templer with the 2h passives and various other skill to pump it, never touched a ranged weapon until now although ill admit in PvE ill charge and use my skill on a enemy but not hit them for some reason if to my right and I was just putting the two together as I was chking some guides to see if I was doing something wrong.

Gaudrath✭✭✭That's because ESO doesn't use actual swing arcs for hit detection as you might expect for a melee combat game. Otherwise it would be possible to hit multiple opponents with 2H weapon attacks. Instead, it uses the same crosshair-on-target as with other weapons. Only thing I'm not sure is if the sticky targeting (where you don't have to aim dead-on with bows and staves) is on for melee weapons too.
Try to keep your crosshair on the target - you will notice that you hit much more reliably then.Edited by Gaudrath on 2 April 2014 21:370 -
yea that's hard to do with the *** eyed aim on the screen for me for some reason I have to really move around to get things to highlight and in a fight that sucks

Kamosabe✭you only need to have the crosshair on the target when you start swinging or when you finish the swing. it kind of latch on it. try it on a mob. target it, start swinging while moving back. you still hit it.
if you get the mechanics behind it, its actually easy to keep hitting your targets. i m also 2handed and having hardly problems, after getting used to it.
also putting your target on softlock (with Tab) helps a lot to keep hitting it.Edited by Kamosabe on 3 April 2014 00:350 -
yea but were my xhair is and were I have to move it to get to interact with stuff to show up reminds of trying to play console ports on PC like AC 4 with KB/M

Kypho✭✭✭✭You get used to it. Try to kill something little as Werewolf from really close range LOL. Not that annoying, just need to get used to it. At least no lame autolock crap in this game.0 -

This is really unfortunate. 2H really pales in comparison to dual wield from what i've seen.
