Launcher Doesnt Start, need help

I tried 2 things.
Installed 4 cd, Launcher appears at desktop. Double click and nothing happens.
I changed and turned off every possible fire wall - windows defender and launcher icon appears at the right bottom corner, then disappears, never actually shows up.
Tried to download client online, it passes through to installing launcher, then icon appears in desktop, run as administrator and still wont open.
Win 8 64 bit, Asus G75 Laptop, Literally Brandnew, like I got it few hours ago
