I was going to ask if you were there past 9. It went downhill quickly.

I think that is about time I started having issues.

Meh, edited out a mean comment. Self censorship the best. :D

PvP is much more about having a source of income starting with Greymoor. They have made PvP the best way to obtain Endgame PvE Spell/Weapon potions, since those Alliance Pots (720 AP per) are going to become equal to crafted potions.

In other words, the solution is to make PvP very profitable to keep people playing instead of fixing the problems.

Context on this potion change? I didn’t see this in the notes...

It will be very profitable for about two weeks, until potion prices absolutely tank due to more supply than demand. If anything these changes will *** off the people who are selling pots for 200+ gold a piece right now. Fine by me lol

Updated Alliance War sourced potions to reflect the power level of max level crafted and Crown potions, resulting in increases in their resources restored and durations across the board. They now better reflect the following potions:

Battle Draughts now mimic Gold Coast Warrior Elixirs
Spell Draughts now mimic Gold Coast Spellcaster Elixirs
Health Draughts now mimic Gold Coast Survivor Elixirs

Potions that grant the Detection bonus now properly apply their visual effects.
Fixed an issue where you could activate certain potions while stunned.

I have no issues except in large scale siege fights(even gw2 has this issue). I just think its weird that some peoole have more issues than others with skill desync and whatnot.

A couple things you can do on the clientside is a fresh install. Plugins and addons can cause clientside latency issues. Disable old addons or addons you dont need in pvp.

You can obv reduce your settings. Reducing your view range helps alot. Theres a ton of guides out there so im not gonna explain.

Things we can all do to reduce server stress is remove your non combat pets. Its not just animations that put stress in servers. Its everything including characters loading in. The new patch will help reduce it a bit by adding multithreading on character loading on the server.

    TLDR

Half the people complaining about lag are having clientside issues and can be remediated.

Nop, I removed all add-ons, I lowered graphics to minimum and still lag. Bgs and non cp is seeing similar issues as well. The real issue here though is the fact that your solution to "fix" performance issues is to blame people's clientside, remove pets (most likely they payed for), fresh install (EVERYONE was required to do so not long ago) and suggest to lower their graphics to Minecraft level is a bit ridiculous if you ask me - no one should be required to do that to play. Gw2 does not have this issues.

I didn't realize you need friends to PVP. Solo queue all day every day.

I do lag and have similar issues in bgs, IC and no CP, not as often nor as bad as normal/standard campaign.

ESO could be the greatest MMO in the market. For now I take a good break and hope to see some improvements in the future - with low expectations.

BGs are still working well enough.

While performance there has been the best option, I can no longer play actually playable PvP with my friends. With Cyrodil performance, and a lack of a separate premade queue, this Massively Multiplayer game is slowly getting relegated to Solo Skyrim 2020. But given their marketing for Greymoor, that's basically what they want it seems.

If their PVE content was at least a bit challenging (like in other single player TES games), I wouldn't mind this direction, since it's clear that they can't or don't want to fix performance issues. However, all overland NPC enemies die from 1-2 light attacks, while the vast majority of quests are actually not that great.

    Thus, taking in account:
    - boring PvE fights
    - unplayable ALL forms of PvP
    - boring storylines and similar to each other quests

I can hardly find any reasons to play the game anymore.

You mean overland content? PvE Dungeons and Trials are very challenging especially in hard mode.

Last night 3am est. Cyrodiil was still high latency (Jabs) 2 out of 4 would hit... Delayed abilities still up to 1 sec.

This morning 10am est. Latency still was bad.

11:30 am Standard server. There was ability lag there also. Not sure what they are doing. But they made some promises last year that this was going to be fixed but its not been done. They actually made the servers worse.

Yes, of course I was talking about PvE overland content.

I’m not a big fan of group PvE, though I’ve done most of VetDLC dungeons to get monster masks and to play with remaining friends after ZoS implemented solo BG queue. Dungeons seem very repeative to me, and I have 0 motivation doing them on regular basis again and again - I have all the sets I need, can swim in transmutes and have undaunted fully leveled on 3 of my main characters.

In addition, I’m not a very social person to try veteran trials.

This just adds up to inability of enjoying overland PvE and broken PvP content.
