Nerf Streak range

Just used Streak at Rayles farm and it brought me right to the Northern Highrock Gate Transitus shrine (within of a five second load screen). That's a bit too much range, don't you think?

    Yes, it needs to be blockable. If i can predict what's going to be the next move i would like to be able to do something about it, not just eat it.
    If streak was just a stun it would be fine, but it also deals damage, works as a escape tool, gap closer AND can hit "unlimited" targets. Now compare that to Fear, for instance...

    Not with that wide range it has. If it hit only what it is in front of you then it would be fine, but it also hits the sorroundings.

    No it no need to be blockable... streak have animation which cant be canceled have cost scaling and it much worst now then Mesmerize. Blockable streak will make sorc too easy pray for any charge ability spammer .. so no changes needed..

    It can be cleansed before going off though. Has counterplay.

    I think having streak being unblockable to counter tank meta is the wrong approach. The problen with this logic is its affective on neverything, not just people who hold block all fight. Tank meta is good because outhealing damage is too easy and holding block uses less resources than the enemy spamming skills. Tank meta is a resource game in which they often win 1v1 because of how cheap sword and shield blocking is. Next patch will see it in a healthier state, but streak will be left untouched. It has no counterplay other than a well timed dodge. It needs to be blockable.

    making streak blockable is the wrong approach. it is healthy to have certain counters to certain abilities, and in this case, streak helps counter blocking targets. this is important for group play, actually, way more important than 1v1 or whatever people are highlighting. I get the frustration but the problem is with the mag sorc burst kit, and the fact that the current way in which streak is meant to be limited - the cost increase - does virtually nothing to stop mag sorcs from streaking an infinite number of times.

    streak should probably have its cost increase by a percentage of max resource, rather than a fixed number, so that mag sorcs can't streak a billion times. Or make it cost stamina... that might hamper some of its usage by mag sorcs. I might also remove its damage too, but I do like that aspect of it on the stam sorc, hehe.

    Is it a probelm to run away from fights you cannot win? This is literaly one of the games tip. If you cannot kill something, there is no shame to running away and fighting back another day. Also, A proper stun needed if streak is taken away. Run cage is takes forever to stun and very graphic. Tapling charge while it is blocking, it is a very reliable and fast stun.

    "Fleeing is a perfectly valid tactic if you wander into a tough situation. Find or craft better gear, use skill points, or level up a bit more, then come back to fight another day."
