Sorcerer & Staff & Light armor .....?

ok here we go
atm im playing a Sorcerer like described in the Discussion Title. But with gaining + 30
lvl i realized that its quite hard sometimes to stay alive. Is there something im doing terribly wrong here..? Also the staff damage feels like missing the right punch although i got almost all passives.

Lastly i havent skilled any craft yet afraid of not having enough skill points in the end.
Should i do that ?

I want a good allround Sorcerer Char...usable in PVE and PVP and would appreciate
any input here or via pm

I can't comment on the balance at higher levels, but for the skill points issue, you can respec them using an alter in the capital city of your faction. For 100g/point.

Craft a ring with armor on it, hell go for 2! Go for 5 pieces of light and 2 heavy.
Use the skills of the heavy armor skill line for stamina cost sheild, believe me Im VR2 and just found this skill is amazing (no magicka cost and all). You will find yourself alot more harder to beat. But 2 armor rings really do help, but I would suggest do it from lvl 45 and get the highest lvl glyph you can get for them.

bound armor and any green (possibly white) light armor of your level will push you into overcharged state on armor.

yeah bound armor is nice , but also means penalty on overall magica and regen.
i.e. you got mage light for crit +bount armor =20% add a pet makes it 30

Yes, definitely choose a crafting skill line. I suggest clothing, as it gives you a greater command over some of the things you can wear and costs a lot less to make your own.

SURVIVALIST SORCERER this is an interesting idea if your looking for more survivability.
