remove stuns from pvp until breakfree/lag is fixed

It's just ridiculous right now, breaking free 5, 6, 7 times, however many times you can before dying, without actually breaking free is just nonsense. It takes 3 to 5 seconds to fire skills off, lag itself is enough of a stun in game right now, and it is persistent.

✭If you remove stuns, you might as well remove the PvP in its entirety - it's not possible to kill a competent player without the use of CCs, outside of heavily outnumbered situations in open field (which is arguably a L2P issue).
OP, it sounds like you are playing on console or PC-EU? Come over to the dark side (PC-NA), where we have cookies... and relatively no lag

Popped in the other night and was trying to clean up some NPC's inside a keep at the inner door. Skills weren't firing so I tried light attacking. Nothing, fired off about 10 light attacks, not one registered. Tried heavy attacking with a lightning staff, 2 second channel 1 tick registered, 2 second channel 1 tick registered. This was on NPC's no client to server to client required, just client to server. The animation hits them, the full on channel was locked onto them, but 1500 damage for 1 tick of a 2 second heavy attack. I just don't know.
Back on topic though, like I said the lag right now acts as enough of a constant stun, actual stuns are just a paralyzing death sentence.0 -

At least on PC-NA I find it mostly playable - there is still some lag and the occasional weirdness, but not nearly as bad as on PC-EU.
My ping on NA is also far better, very rarely going above 450. And CC break even works most of the time!0 -

✭Just tried to do a bg and holy hell I was pretty much stunned/CCed the entire time because of break free not working, not even gonna attempt cyrodiil right now because it'd likely be much worse. The desync from CCs is definitely a thing as well because surprise surprise that happened several times too making me unable to do literally anything.0
