Do non subscibers get to keep gear earned from DLC during the free trial when trial runs out?

I'm bummed my sub will end a few days after the free week, but it isn't a big deal to me. In fact, I'm looking forward to the next free week as I'll take a break from subbing for a few months and probably won't play at all without crafting bag and double bank.

So are current ESO+ subscribers being compensated in anyway? There used to be free crown crates. I don't see that mentioned here. At the very LEAST I should have my sub extended by 7 days right? Since you're offering nearly 1/3rd of what I paid for this month for free..

While I understand your way to look at it, there is as well another way to look at it.

If I am a permanent subscriber for as long as I play, it doesn't matter at all, if I get 7 days more or not. Because I would never play those 7 days anyway. I either play and are subbed or I don't play and then it doesn't matter for how long my ESO+ still lasts. So if I would get 7 more days, it wouldn't change a thing. And i guess a lot are permanent subscribers, when they are playing, so it doesn't matter to them at all.

Of course ZOS could be generous - but they haven't understood the worth of being generous yet. For a whiie i thought eventually they would have finally grasped it - but I guess they are just that greedy in their hearts, that even if they try to be generous it is a greedy kind of generosity - like those daily rewards - useless crown store consumables most of the time.

7 days added to your sub balance WOULD matter. It would mean 7 more days before resubbing. Add up all the free ESO+ trials and you would receive multiple free months. That has a clear savings. Look at your account. There is a days remaining balance. Increasing that for free will save you money.

Don't get me wrong--I don't think this is a big deal. But let's not misrepresent the situation.

Plus trials are about every three months or so, usually after a big event.

If you want to maximise your sub, do it after the event ends.

Anyone who subs for 11 straight months should get a month for free. Amiright?

    Greetings all!

After removing some comments for Bashing, as well as Baiting, we have decided it best to close this thread down. While we understand that members may have different opinions and views, Bashing, and Baiting, are both violations of the rules that we have in place, and are stated as such:
Bashing and Slanderous Comments: We do not permit the bashing of individuals (including ZeniMax employees), groups, or other companies on our forums. We believe that doing so is neither constructive nor in spirit of our game and community.
Trolling or Baiting: The act of trolling is defined as something that is created for the intent to provoke conflict, shock others, or to elicit a strong negative or emotional reaction. It’s okay and very normal to disagree with others, and even to debate, but provoking conflict, baiting, inciting, mocking, etc. is never acceptable in the official The Elder Scrolls Online community. If you do not have something constructive or meaningful to add to a discussion, we strongly recommend you refrain from posting in that thread, and find another discussion to participate in instead. It is also not constructive or helpful to publicly call out others and accuse them of trolling, or call them a troll—please refrain from doing so. If you genuinely believe someone is trolling, please report the post or thread to the ESO Team, and leave it at that.
If there may be any questions in regards to the rules, feel free to review them here.

    Thank you for your understanding,
    -Greg-
