Imagine being so sensitive as a company to refuse to reopen a thread that has 500+pages on it because somebody posted a petition asking for better performance on a game they pay around 200$/year to play.

I don't think that is true. I think that this game is more popular now than it ever has been. Just look at the steam chart:

There has been a huge influx of players for Skyrim. I know this not only from looking at the steam chart, but personal experience. In my guild, we have more new players to the game than we have had in years.

That being said, the PVP population has been in steady decline for years. I think that the draw of this game, for most people, is the fact it is an Elder Scrolls game. It is not that it is an MMO. That means that most people who came for the fact it is an Elder Scrolls game are here for PVE. That side of the game is strong and getting better all the time. The people who came for a PVP/MMO experience, not being invested in the fact it is an Elder Scrolls game, have been in decline, and most of those were PVPers.

Just my thoughts.
