You got zerged. Your situational awareness was a bit off. Nothing to see here.
I thought this was going to be a picture of the log in screen after you get disconnected.
As if "funny" builds are not used in battlegrounds...
much mayhem
I don't know what to say. That's standard for Cyro at prime-time, due to lag. Mid-year mayhem just means it's prime-time most of the time. I'm a small-scaler. I rely on my skills working, but intricacy goes out the window when Cyrodiil is full. You end up dumbing down your playstyle. I usually abscond to IC.LinearParadox wrote: »It's boring, repetitive, stale. There's no variety, there's no intricacy to the fight.

Solo and small scale seems more involved to me, because you live from second to second and every move counts. You tell me what life is like as a healer. I've never played one. The large groups I've occasionally played with took calculated risks and stood their ground, heal and AOE spamming. That never appealed to me all that much. How is that any different during the event?

thats not a Mayhem problem, because the additional pve mayham player will not use these setups.

The OP has already clarified the situation. He saw the zerg coming, but was trying to heal their own zerg through it. However in general:You got zerged. Your situational awareness was a bit off. Nothing to see here.
Your situational awareness was off? You don't get zerged because your "situational awareness was off". You get zerged because 20 players saw you and kerb stomped you.
God, some of the comments in this sub forum are dumb.
That's precisely how you get zerged as a solo player or small-scaler. I'm not saying it doesn't happen, but ultimately it means you were pushing too hard. As a nightblade main, it's virtually impossible to catch me like that. On other classes the main reason I would die to an ult zerg train is because I didn't pay close enough attention to the battlelines. In my last guild we had a policy of dispersing when we saw an ult train coming. Figuring out when the opposing group would push was one of the key tasks performed by our leader. On the other hand, as an independent player, you're typically not relying on group heals and it's easier not to be at the center of your own zerg in the first place, where the ult train will hit.You don't get zerged because your "situational awareness was off".

I saw it, knew it was coming. I was trying to heal some zerglings through it. I could've easily dodged it, but I was trying to help carry the brainless lemmings to some semblance of victory, or at least a functional blunt instrument to use against the other factions.
That needs an epilepsy warning.Tommy_The_Gun wrote: »In one picure ? I think that would be pretty accurate:

I join the fight and sometimes get invited to a group. Heck, I don't use any PVP setups at all nor do I use poisons. Just a pure PVE character setup I use to run dungeons. Be it my Tanks, my Healers or my DPS characters they all get in there and do alright.
I get killed a good bit and am usually rezzed by a friendly nearby and I too rez a lot of dead comrades. It's a lot of fun to me and I thoroughly enjoy the Midyear Mayhem event.
