What are the views on death and the afterlife among the different races in Tamriel

I pose this question because death is such an integral part of the ESO game mechanics, and it would be nice (particularly in PVP areas) to feel that there is some redeeming aspect to it in the lore. It's interesting to see that throughout the land there are multitudes of ghosts that factor into the stories. Usually, their presence has something to do with some curse or imbalance in the events that led up to their demise. I'm interested to know whether there is any philosophical or religious system in ES lore that delves into the meaning of death and the afterlife.
Thanks for any insight offered to this topic!

There's plenty, often depending on what race you are or what divine/daedra you worship.

In ESO, we see a few examples. In Eastmarch, you'll see Sovngarde where Nords who died a warrior's death end up. In Bangkorai, you'll visit the Far Shores, a glimpse of the Redguard afterlife.

Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
