Screen Blinks Black with Mouse Clicks for combat etc. DIAG attached

Whenever I left click to attack, with each attack my screen blinks and flickers, which is driving me insane haha! Also the launcher pops up into view overtop of the game window even in full screen mode. Also does it in windowed mode. I have updated my drivers, and tried all the settings recommendations etc in the known issues thread etc. Let me know if the DXDIAG file indicates anything I can do on my end to fix. Love the game otherwise. Thanks for any help in advance, much appreciated. Running a rather good gaming asus laptop with a direct x 11 video card etc.

I'm having this happen to me as well. It mainly happens to me in conversation with NPCs when left-clicking. I don't experience nearly as much in combat though. I switch the attack button to right-click to correspond to the right-hand and vice versa. I'm wondering if it has something to do with left-clicking, which has me stumped even more. Any advice would be much appreciated!

It might seem a little weird but try switching your attack key binding to right-click and block to left-click. This might help it not flash in combat. It's a temporary fix until we find out what else to do lol.

I am happy to say CS has contacted me in response to a support ticket I put in on this. Once I know the results of their analysis of my latest system files etc i sent them to further research it i will keep you all posted here.

I'm having the same issue lol whenever I click to attack my screen will flicker!... Is there any solutions to this yet?

@thecfi32_ESO and everyone else with this problem. This may work for you, I hope it does.
I started having this problem when I updated my AMD drivers to 14.4. I found a solution to stop it, but it's a double-edged sword for me. I have to turn on Aero to keep the screen from tearing, but with the new drivers and Aero turned on, I get blinking/flickering when I click my mouse in dialogue screens.
Here's what stopped my blinking:
1. Click Start .
2. In the Start Search textbox type Services.msc If prompted by the UAC, provide a password or confirmation. Click Continue .
3. Scroll down until you locate the entry that is labeled Desktop Window Manager Session Manager.
4. Right-Click on this service. Select Stop from the context menu.
5. Right Click once again on the entry. Select Properties from the context menu.
6. Go to the “General Tab ” to change the start up type to Disabled. Click OK .

This does disable Aero. I do get a little screen tearing because of this, but the blinking was driving me crazy... the tearing was just bothersome. I had to choose the lesser of two evils. Good Luck!

Same issue but only in conversation for me. It's a millisecond long blink but enough to make me nuts. Hopefully ZOS has a fix for this queued.

I know for me as an amd user using 14.4 its because of the AMD Gaming Evolved app. If I close this it works fine.
