Does the savage feeding passive apply to Feeding only? Or does it apply to Drain as well?

Please and thanks :)

Yes I'd like to know this aswell, if it applies to drain well then, that makes the passive a lot less useless.

Doesn't Drain Essence already stun? Without the passive, the feed skill just does the damage and brings you down a Vampire Stage. With the passive, it give the feed a stun.

This is how I'm reading it at least.

Feed doesn't deal any damage. It's just a really long and goofy looking channeled stun. It stuns both you and the enemy you're using it on while it's going, then stuns them further with the talent.

However I'd much rather open a fight with Shadow Cloak and Surprise Attack for 90% of a mobs health or even 1 shotting to the no damage feed.

Also: Drain Essence has a stun built into it. As far as I know Savage Feeding doesn't put that stun there: it's always been there.

The real question is: Does the Heavy Armor passive for increased healing you receive count Drain Essence? Or only healing from other players healing you?

There is no stun built into Drain Essence. If you say that there is a stun for you, then it is likely from Savage Feeding.

While casting drain essence on a monster the monster CAN'T move, it gets interrupted from anything it was doing, while you can move around it (7 yard range). That is always there without any savage feeding or anything. The downside is you can't interrupt the channel unless you move 7 yards from it, and while channeling you can't cast anything else or block (which matters if it's a group of mobs, but not that much since you get tons of hp back).

Technicaly unless you have angry two handed users who spam knockdown in your 20 mob party you can pretty much overheal all damage while using that move its funny. Drain Essence is a stun that both stun you and your target but who cares since its a free interrupt wich deals damage and heals both your health and stamina to the max.

Then you must be daft. On my second vampire character, who is only rank 1 and therefore it is impossible for him to have a rank in savage feeding, when using Drain Essence the enemies always sort of hunch over and look dazed aka stunned and cannot take actions or move.

While feeding it lifts them high up into the air and they wiggle around flailing arms and screaming while you go through this weird lip swiping ritual with one arm, then the other, then both at the same time. This deals no damage and does not leave the enemy stunned if you do not have savage feeding.

    Do you even vampire?

Drain Essence does not stun you, you can walk around while using it. However, so far as I know, whilst feeding you cannot move your character at all.

To answer the question, the passive only stuns the target after feeding. Does not apply to Drain Essence.
