• NA megaservers for maintenance – January 7, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 10:00AM EST (15:00 UTC)
• EU megaservers for maintenance – January 7, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 10:00AM EST (15:00 UTC)

6am - 6pm EST Game Time (PS4)

It is not just American and Canadian people who play on the NA servers. It's an international concept, inevitably. I obviously don't need to tell you that, though.

So, why is it so empty? So quiet? Not just simply that, but how often it is like this that concerns me.

(1) Battlegrounds
(2) Public Dungeons
(3) Cyrodiil
(4) Guild Members
(5) Trial Groups
(6) General Public


All of this is absent during these hours. No matter what role you play and how many friends I make or have.

There are a significant less amount of players active. Is there a real solution to this?


Because all I see are threads and threads and threads of all the same issues and complaints - most of them relative to this general concept I have mentioned - but nothing more than talk about it.

Can this even possibly be resolved?

    It is an international game, but the reality is that most of the players on PC NA are from North America, and during those hours most of them are at work/at school.

    If there was only one server that everyone played on there would be more people active at all times of the day, but many people would be experiencing much higher ping as a result. Ask any Aussie that plays on PC NA.... I’m sure most of them would want their own Aussie server if there was enough people to keep it active.

    I went with the game has lower population during less than prime time hours. I disregarded the parts that started to not make sense like there are many threads on the same issues and complaints since the only threads I recall that are related to low pop times on the server are Cyrodiil related.

    Eh, I don't do any of the stuff you're on about. But I play from 7am to 4pm MST, and DAMN I can't even move in Vivec just to do writs, and fishing? Nope.... WAY too many people no matter where I want to be.

    So I guess lots of us just aren't into the stuff you want to do.

    Ack, should have noted you are talking about PS4. But I imagine the same applies....

    I like modern cons like electricity and running water, so I work, to pay for all these things. I also like to sleep, in order to do said work more effectively.

    It can. You just need to recruit more people to play on the PS4 server. If you buy me said PS4 I would be happy to play with you...

    While I agree with most people saying that those arnt ps4 na prime hours (Its usually 6pm to 12am est). Ps4 pop is a lot lower since patch, probably a result of crashing and disconnecting every 5 min :)

    6am EST is 11am GMT so most of Europe (which is GMT - GMT+4) will be at work then

    From 11am EST (4pm GMT) it’s the start of PC EU primetime

    5pm EST (10pm GMT) the beginning of the end of PC EU primetime

    So the end of the day EST really coincides with the end of the playing day for PC EU

    Why would we go play on PC NA when there are fewer locals playing there? It’s almost as if we were on the other side of the world B)

    You seem to forget that there's several time zones across the globe... Lol

    GMT it's +5h than Eastern NA

    And you also seem to forget that most of the players have jobs or attend classes during daytime...

    I would be on at this time rapping up before getting to bed tho but now eso aint even on my system anymore due to how unpleasant its became to play maybe once its fixed ill see you around an bank or town some time but as i said its my rapping up HR so wont be running any content
