I've seemingly beaten Molag Bal, and the Ayleid King is taking a little nappy nap now. I just finished The Final Assault, talked to Meridia, yada yada yada... and then there's just nothingness. You walk back into the Hollowed City like nothing has happened.
There's no other main quest at this point. I've heard you go to do the other zone's quests as VR. I'm only level 49 though, so do I have to get 50 then come back to begin VR content?

I think you really answered your own question there. If your not 50 then you wouldn't be able to start veteran ranks it seems as you still have a level to go to be a veteran.

Have you finished the last quest that the prophet gives you. The one where even he goes back to cold harbor with you. If not you are not done quite yet. I am uncertain but it seemed to me that was a level 50 quest. It must be completed before you can go to vr content.

What he ^^ said. There is a level 50 quest the prophet gives you. You go back to the Harborage and do it. After you complete that, you can go to Vet content.

I was level 47 when I beat all the Coldharbour quests and had to grind to 50. Once I got there, he popped up.

Since i dont need the grinding spot anymor il share it with you. its better xp than zombies because there are less people there.
The mobs are level 49 and grouped in packs of 3.

at the end of the quest The Manor of Revelry
    What the Heart Wants
There is a tunnel where you guide the npc through. When you end the quest you drop of a ledge and you think you cant get in anymore. However, if you remember where the ledge is, if you face it on the left side there is a tree via which you can jump up it again and enter the tunnel.
It took me 1.5 hours to grind 2 full levels worth of experience :) used an aoe farm dk, but i recon any aoe style build can work.
An orc marrying a wood elf?! Enjoy your Borsimer mutants!
