The Art Work of Tamriel

For the past six months or so I have been wondering who created all the in game art that is on display in player homes, on walls, in the Outlaws Refuge, etc. Not who as in the designer, but who in the 1st or 2nd era were the painters that painted those pieces? Knowing Elder Scrolls such trivial information has gotta be hidden somewhere at ZOS or Bethesda, can anyone assist me in tracking down the lore friendly names and profiles for each artist of each painting or sculpture in game? I want to compile a 2E art history book in my character's voice and I've also formed a guild around the idea of Tamriel Art history, The Royal Academy of Arts in the Altmeri Dominion.

Thanks!

    Urrrrr....

Probably one of those orc men wearing wedding dresses. They seem like the artsy types.

It may come down to travelling around in game. I know I've run into many artist NPC's in my wanderings. There are several in summerset which may be a good place to start your compilation. There's also a lone easel outside of daggerfall in glenumbra that I believe has a lore book around it, can't remember if it says anything about artists though.

They are indeed :D. There's only one book about painting I'm aware of and this book is about Orcs! The Red Paint.
