Anyone Else Find the Mane's Appearance Underwhelming?

Anyone else find the Mane underwhelming? In appearance he is just not what I was expecting based on the lore I have read of him. I was really hoping to see a glorious long braid of hair that would be trailing behind him on a cart or something. I know that more modern Manes stopped that tradition, but considering we are in the second era I thought we would get to see it. Other than his helm with the few small braids he looks really plain to me :s . What does everyone else think?

    I like how underwhelming he is. He has been built up in lore so much that you are expecting some kinda cat dragon god specially born to rule the Khajiit, and then when you meet him he is just so silly. Nice play.

    One could argue that he moved away from the tradition as a matter of practicality, given that the whole continent is at war and he is traveling in territory outside of Elsweyr that is dangerous even in peacetime.

    I want to believe that, but the projection of the first Mane that you encounter looks almost identical to the one you meet in this game.
