Cant log in this morning (Australia) after the patch update PCNA
see two messages - first one then one after restarting computer

I am having the same issue. Still unable to log in after trying all the troubleshooting that is on these forums from January.

After updating, you may have to fully close Steam or set Steam to "Run as Administrator" to resolve the "Unable to initialize connection to Steam". More details on how to do this here.
