Marksman's Crest and Crushing Weapon

Quick question for anyone who has tested this
My understanding is Marksman's Crest buffs heavy and light bow attacks. If this is the case, does it also buff crushing weapon? The tool tip says it adds additional damage to your next light attack, which in theory would then benefit from an additional 8% damage on players.

✭✭To expand on it. Crushing weapon is no different than procing enchant on light attack. Its different damage affected by different things and light attack is just means of proccing it.1
