Buying, for example, a "Wardrobe (Sorcerer)" allows you to class-change into a sorcerer at any time you can access your wardrobe item in your home.
It also lets you store up to 14 items -- i.e., a full set of gear including 2 weapons for each bar.

IF the powers that be EVER go there, you can only expect a token that permanently changes your class and class skills. And a very expensive token at that. And so far they still are on the "no plans for that" stance...
Thinking about it some more...
...what could be doable was a "gear change wardrobe" as a furniture piece (possibly refitted to ALL the old wardrobes if you buy the one unlock) that has a complete set inside, armor, trinkets and both weapons... and swaps it for the one you are wearing.
