Is there an add-on that lets you add your own notes to map locations?

    My TTMP AddOn has a "Point of Interest" icon that you can place at the current player location and add your own description.

    Awesome dude. How does interact with Map Pins addon I am currently using? Will they work together or no?

    Not sure, never used Map Pins.

    I can give it a try and see if they work together, but it'll be a few days, i'm currently somewhat indisposed ...

    You can also try Harvens Custom Map Pins.

    I am a completionist that used to pick up every single unmarked quest I came across, leading to an always full quest log and alot of story confusion. Now I just mark quest starters with a colorful custom icon that shows my description when I mouse over it. When I'm ready I can just come back to it later. Also useful for marking a path to hard-to-get-to places on the map B)
