Doshia bugged ?

I have been trying to kill Doshia for a while now, I am meanwhile level 10. But most annoyingly the last two times it seemed to go reasonably well and i thought i got her and she suddenly disappears but the quest wont update. She is simply gone from the cave and doesnt respawn either and my quest still says kill Doshia. Which i thought i already did and cant do anyway now because she is not there anymore...Has anyone else got the same problem ? Drives me insane, she is hard enough to beat as it is...have elft , logged out and restarted all over again twice already and the same happened again..grr

Hmmm
Id say give it a miss for now, a few bugs there after launch which happens as anyone who has played a game knows.
Come backa few levels later, and see if that helps.
Yeah it will be annoying not to progress on that part right now, but wait for a fix and bug report it

Kite and dot the hell out of her is how I passed her when I was L12. Just slowly kite around the room. That pulls the healing balls with her. kill the balls to heal (works on you and her so be careful). You won't be able to keep up killing the balls which is why I recommend kiting her the whole fight.

If you let Doshia transform and you don't kill the floating sphere's then you're in trouble. Maybe I've been lucky as the last 2-3 times I've done Doshia (beta and launch) I've been able to kill her before she manages to transform.

I don't know how long the fight was, but I know in previous MMO's I've played, if the fight drags on too long sometimes it would bug out and reset. Report it to the devs, maybe it's actually a bit bugged out

I thought they had taken away her transformation. I noticed a few things got easier after launch compared to BETA. One thing specifically here is she would transform pretty quick in BETA. When I went after her after launch I was able to kill her before transforming and having those health orbs too. Good luck! Have you tried abandoning the quest and redoing it?

No, she transforms all right if you don't kill her quickly.

First time she did that I was thinking, oh great this can't get any worse. It did.

It's not bugged, just more difficult than a lot of other bosses by comparison.

It is bugged as hell how can u say its not..... people dissapearing out of group. What a load of ..... bleh

They disappear out of group @Fransiscus because this is a solo instance. I think that nothing should be forced as solo in an MMO game but that's just me. I do lot of stuff solo, but I'd at least like the option.

Well first off its a Guild quest so that means you can't do it in a group it has to be done solo.

and its not bugged its just a good challenging fight you need to figure out and perform well to beat.

I was finally able to beat her. I did it before she transformed. I just kept knocking her down so she couldn't transform.

Lol how did you do that ???? Im getting slaughterd the room is to small for me to get all the orbs before she heals. And when i pull her into the bigger room after a couple hits she resets on me and return to startpoint.....

i've killed her a few times as a melee class.

1. pull her away from where she spawns. there's usually not enough room to kite her.
2. once she stuns and lifts you into the air, she's about to summon her healing orbs.
3. when the healing orbs show up, pop them FAST! they'll heal her if she touches them, but they'll full heal you when you pop them.

Most people here don't seem to be addressing the OP's problem at all; they're just discussing (and arguing about) strategies to kill her, and whether or no they think the quest is too hard.

It seems to be that @JOnEB4EvR had the best suggestion: Abandon the quest and go back to Sees-All-Colors to start it again. The OP said (s)he's tried relogging and restarting, but it's unclear whether he restarted the game from login, or restarted the quest itself. By restart the quest, I don't mean leave the dungeon and go back in; I mean abandon the quest in the UI, and then get it again as though it were the first time.
