Between today and yesterday I got into 7 battlegrounds matches. One just now and 6 yesterday. Today's game got halfway through and the game client crashed. Out of yesterdays 6 total matches two of them had the screen freeze and kick me out to the login screen with an internet error that I only get while playing THIS game. in another 2 games, as soon as the load screen for the battleground completed, I saw my character for one second and then immediately hit the login screen with no error message. The final two games I was able to play all the way through (on an alt I didn't even really want to be playing,). I only got to play 29% of my games, and those games on my 2nd or 3rd choice of character. These queueing/disconnecting issues have been around since BGs were introduced nearly two yeras ago and I would really love to see more stability, but honestly i'm not holding my breath.
However, if ZOS is unable or unwilling to but the effort and resource into fixing the issue at the very least do something about the 20 minute BG deserter penalty, it is 5 minutes longer than the dungeon deserter penalty for what appears to be no reason. Disconnects that occur before the 45s game timer even starts to count down should not count against you, and the first disconnect of the day (per account) should be no penalty or severely reduced. I know everyone has different amounts of time to play the game, but I usually 1-2 hours maybe 3 times a week, and I choose to spend that time in BGS. Its just painful to have 2/3rds to 3/4ths of my time taken up by waiting for queues and sitting in time-out.
