I bet you complained when you had to switch discs every 20 seconds when loading a game too, right? Oh and heaven forbid if you messed up the order of the discs and had to find disc 3 again after loading disc 6. It was the game maker's fault that you shuffled the discs!
Maintenance sucks for all parties involved. Just go do real life stuff or play a different game while maintenance is happening. It is not the end of the world.3 -

I used to lie awake DREAMING of a floppy disk while loading off my 1530 tape drive. Then I got my 1541 drive and finally a 4040 dual! Yay for the hole punch so you could double side those babies. at least 60% of the time

iarnold✭✭This is rich! I quit playing around the end of 2017 and started back just 2 weeks ago. The maintenance was frequently extended back then as well, and seeing it happen now really brings back all the bad memories and experiences associated with this company and games.
Living in Australia, you come home after work, and the maintenance is going on. You think you can play for an hour before bed, but the maintenance is extended! This is basically how I got into playing other games and lost interest in ESO. That reminds me, I can go back to playing other games XD2 -

My friend had the model with the floppies. I wasn't able to convince my parents I needed a computer until senior year of high school. Mine was an IBM PCjr.
When I took Computers in high school, our computers were old. I saved my programming on PAPER TAPE!!! So glad my high school was stuck in the '40s....1 -

With each day you're closer to a moment when your player base will start to shrink rapidly, but when you'll wake up it will be to late. You haven't learnt nothing from the past, when you;ve lost majority of old players. Maybe when there will be 500 players left we will have no problems with performance.Say no to Toxic Casuals!

delayed bug fixes and whatnot.
Right now though, I am getting pissed.
Pissed , since I pay Eso Plus since Day One (that I started Eso, so bout almost 2 years)
and cant get nowhere tagging solo with the Dungeon Finder since its F$#%^ broken...
Pissed, that I cannot even farm gears with a full group because the damn DF still f#$%^ up!
Pissed , that even if we teleport to the desired instance, its buggy, laggy as hell , reminds me
of the old EQ or FFXIV days , where you'd wait like a moron for 4 hours to get kicked out
of a dungeon...not because you were voted out or that your cpu is crap, just because the game
and its devs cant seem to be able to fix simple issues.
So , whomever might be controlling the chimps and hamsters at ZOS : "How about
finding a job as a Politician?"...Just saying, that with the amount of BS we are told,
might as well have an actual press conference bout it...at least we'd be actually
kept informed of the actual of the current state of the game...
Nevermind that, like politicians, ZOS PR hamsters are unable to deliver either results
or be actually honest in whatever it is currently happening.
So I'll go fap to something that isnt animated cartoons and perhaps see actual improvement
on that game.
Otherwise, like so many other mmo's that went down the gutter..ill move on and so
will most people playing it.
Saddens me to see an actually good game being wasted away by uncaring Devs

Also this is a patch maintenance so those take a little longer.
