Wow i am flabbergasted..
Just bought eso plus yesterday after not playing eso for 6 months or so,if i knew there would be such a long maintenance i wouldnt have got it.

Seems not much has changed (developed) here......

you realised info about a maintenance patch was published a week ago... on this very site.

also seems like you're complaining for the sake of it - what difference does 8 hours make? if it botheres you that much, play overnight.

    some people. smh

If this leaves you flabbergasted, I can't imagine how you react to learning of all the other things that don't revolve around you.

You're gonna quit... before you even started... because it happens that you have bad timing, and you bought the game the day before maintenance?

Just a tad of an over reaction don't ya think?

    What are you exactly?

You're "flabbergasted". Said you wouldn't have bought ESO plus if you knew there'd be such a long maintenance.

Then follow that up immediately with saying nothing has changed or improved, i.e. you couldn't possibly have been surprised by the 8 hour maintenance.

Guess my expectations that Zenimax would get better at maintaining theyr maintenance times were to high.
Playing this game for over 2 years but i havent been here for couple of months and no i didnt check how long maintenance would take before i bought eso plus yesterday,if i checked it i would probably waited 2 days before buying it or wouldnt buy it at all..

We are costumers,we pay for something,we arent Zenimax employees.
In fact ,we pay the employees and staff.

    I dont understand people.

    1. Maintenance was announced here well in time.
    2. It happens every few weeks, if you bought the game two years ago, you should know that.
    3. If you want to unsubscribe, noone is forcing you to not. Do it.
    4. You don't have to announce that you will unsubscribe. Just unsubscribe.
    5. You might even be refunded. Please unsubscribe and share a screenshot when you do that.

Makes as little sense as your original post. Yay for consistency!

Now you claim that you held a totally groundless belief that ZO would just reduce maintenance times and are shocked, SHOCKED that they haven't!!

The irony that you appear to have the coping skills of a 10 year old is, no doubt, not lost on everyone either.

It is perhaps unintended... I see a lot of these posts have the word 'wow' in it. I recall a different time when a different MMO had a Tuesday 8 hour maintenance. Every week. No matter what.

I feel like I have flashbacked (flashed back? meh) to 2008.

    Dear OP,

You wouldn't worry so much about what other people thought about you, if you knew how little they did. - ??

I also play that other mmo, vanilla, from before any expansion, there was no WEEKLY 8 hour maintenance in wow, never.
    Nice try.

Tab doesn't work in this field like a word processor...

Realize that you are just seeking attention. Stop airing out your tear-stained dirty laundry here. No one cares, not even Zenimax.

Your futile attempts at stirring up controversy for the sake of feeling validated in a forum for a video game because your life plainly, sucks, is hilarious to me.

Man I miss the old days of Blizzard's forums.

And they actually make use of having different servers in different time zones,
making sure the maintenance is done in a time when in general most people in that time zone are asleep.

To be fair at least that is one thing I can always be sure will run smoothly. Imagine if you wanted to buy something from the store and it ended up purchasing a Nix Hound instead.

Uh .. no they don't. Which is why every time there's maintenance, Blizzard's GD forums explode with whiny "why couldn't they schedule this when some other part of the world that isn't mine is awake instead" ...
