Yeah? You clearly haven't suffered through the ZS raids on Vivec EU. EP being dead last, but dominating completely during prime time, pushing the other factions back to their spawns. There is some huge potential for utter domination here.

But my guess is, it will be picked up by some group that does not focus on killing enemy players but rather on flipping keeps as fast as possible and basically living of the Offensive Ticks. With that new Artifact travel time between keeps will be much longer than actual siege time.

Indeed.
We can all assume the worst, but we know very little of how the Daedric Artifact mechanic will work.
ZOS won't risk implementing a weapon which could be abused all the time and they must have thought of ways to prevent most of the abuses we can think of.

Here's how I see it going down. If a guy is carrying volendrung and is crowned emperor, the weapon will disappear and he'll have his normal weapons equipped but the volendrung skill bar won't go away, so he tries reloading ui; doesn't work. Tries porting; doesn't work. So he reloads his game, kicked from cyrodiil. Queue 78. By the time he gets back into the campaign he's lost emp.

In general, its a great idea. Pvp needs a new dynamic.

The concern is legit. I like that it spawns by the weakest faction.

Hopefully if the faction with emp attempts to run for the relic, one of the other factions takes advantage of emps faction pulling their numbers to one side of the map and flip some resources

Btw this is a game not an Esport let's make it fun.

So much theory into the bad none into the fun factor. The eso community should imo imbrace an element like this to add to PvP.

Abuse of the weapon - is to exploit certain skills. Politics and views / perceptions shouldn't be a factor in a change or nerf.

Balanced yes - Should it wipe zergs of people ? Absoluty that's the point - if you zerg there will be consequences now. And it's not going to last long so everyone is getting paranoid over this ?

Why I have no idea - let's just have some fun with it and if you see the person have it, run don't try to 1v1 him or think you can solo kill him/her. It's supposed to be overpowered and cheesy and funny and enjoyable.

It's going to be an utter disaster. Not because of balance or being over/underpowered item but because of server performance.

Cyrodiil already performs very badly as it is, creating an additional artifactual hot spot where every fraction and player will converge not going to help the current abysmal performance in any way thats for sure. I expect heavy lag and disconnects, a generally unplayable game anywhere near the new artefact.
