Small quality of life improvements

So, I'm not exactly sure how many people are going to see this because the forums are an absolute mess, but I really think a few tweaks here and there would make wonders in making this game more fun. Here's a list;

1- Transaction and transport costs. The following fees are just too high and end up constantly pushing players into a stagnating wealth. I think letting players actually have some extra money to play the game and enjoy it is... fairly reasonable.
- Waystone fees could be reduced by 50% and become extremely reasonable, considering they can reach pretty high levels when you need to do two quick trips somewhere
- CoD and Auction fees are way too high. Reduce them to 5% each to make them actually useful as means of making transactions. Right now they're just ridiculous
- The cost of respeccing could be reduced by 50% and still provide enough incentive to properly build your character, while making choices count, but without just gauging players like mad if they decide to switch roles or something of the sort

2- It's impossible to know where someone is in chat, making coordination between players a bit annoying at times. Letting us ping the player's location would help greatly in that

3- Right now you can't target a player that's near you to tell him something, it's really obnoxious. I've had a lot of people come into fights and help me and I couldn't manage to send them a short "thank you" because I couldn't target them nor find the /tell command. I know it's newbish but honestly it's kinda dumb that we can't target things with the mouse mode (when you press ".")

4- The node detection skills are pretty much useless right now. I can't remember the last time they helped me find a node that I couldn't already see from a distance. I really think it would be nice if you increased the light emitted by them (think a smaller version of skyshards) as well as the distance trigger from 20 -> 30 -> 40 to 40 -> 60 -> 80. At least they wouldn't feel like absolutely wasted points.

5- The forums are an ABSOLUTE mess. Let us choose which language we want with the top bar on the site and then make all the other languages just disappear. Right now it's atrocious to try and navigate this stuff, seriously. I'm actually french but I read the forums in english and I don't plan on switching any time soon. I don't feel like having two sets of forums to check constantly, and it's just really amateurish how it's arranged right now. Honestly, take a hint from the WoW forums for this one. Or any other online game for that matter. I don't know who designed this stuff but it's ***. Sorry but it needs to be said.

Apart from that the game is great, good job to all of you. Thanks for reading!

PS: I'm trying to post this thing right now and there isn't even a general discussion for everyone. I don't know if it's a deliberate attempt to push potentially whiny players away from the forums but this is really, really problematic. I'm gonna end up posting in "Crafting" because it's the most general on here. I mean seriously, get your stuff together with the forums please.

Agreed on all counts... My additions to the list:

    1) Access to your personal bank at crafting stations. The distance between crafting areas and the bank is almost always ridiculously far. Forcing players to run back and forth is completely unnecessary and severely annoying.

    2) Crafting materials should *not* take up personal bank space and should be placed under a separate bank tab. Stack size should be limited, but upgradable.

    3) The ability to "deposit all crafting materials" from your backpack while adventuring in the field. I can barely get through one quest without completely filling my inventory with mats. I find myself wasting way too much time running back into town to offload.

In short, the inventory system in this game is atrocious and it needs to be revamped.

Generally, I agree, but wayshrine to wayshrine travel is free. I have to say that I have never paid to use the wayshrines. I just go to the nearest one and then use it for free.

With regard to fee's, they need to keep them high to counter inflation. once an MMO gets going, inflation tends to run wild. Gold sinks of all sorts are needed, and they need to be robust . If anything , they have priced things to low.

When crafting, you should have access to everything in your personal bank. So if all your runes are in the bank, you can still make enchantments at an enchanting station.

I tend to keep all my basic refined materials in the bank.

Crafting taking things from bank is nice, but after deconstructing I still have to go back to bank to put the mats there.
But then there is Stormhold docks where everything is right (no craft station is in effing building and bank is near).

Exactly my point... This seriously needs to change.

I like the fees for the guild store, it will help a lot with the gold inflation later in game, as someone said above, but i would like to see the CoD cost greatly reduced. You pay for convenience at the guild store, when you spend time spamming in general chat forever and find the buyer/seller you want it should not cost so much to send them the items or gold you want to.

You can't always party them and go find them either, as sometimes they are instanced and you can not interact with them. Making CoD the only option.

    .

Now that would be a great added perk to hang on the hireling skill.
