Do we know what's coming next yet?

I'm trying to think positive / think future - to the days when my Mac-based game client regains pre-Murkmire functionality and Cyrodiil lag is something we tell our children about when we reminisce about the old days......

So, not sure if I missed a memo - do we know what's coming up after Murkdire? Sorry..... MurkMIRE. I know we have the Undaunted event to look forward to next, after Clockwork, and that we will have the New Life rinse & repeat after that. Anyone heard about anything else?

They won't tell us what is in store for next year until probably late January thinking back to previous years yes.

Hopefully lots of cool stuff like pet skins and hair dyes, a nice big zone story zone is always nice. also new pvp things is always good.

As long as they don't invest all their resources into trying to balance this that and the other and just upsetting loads of people. if they can be a bit more surgical with their "balance" and keep "DLC" / "Chapters" separate it would be so nice.

Just enjoy Fishmas in the meantime.

It is a most merry time of year in Tamriel. Everyone dresses up in a seasonal way, sweetrolls and fishcakes abound, The Fishmas grotto gleams in the candlelight and everyone gathers by the Fishmas tree for a drink and a nap.

Oh and some people do that whole New Life Festival thing too.

I do believe it was said somewhere that we get 4 'things' every year. One chapter and three DLCs, two of them being dungeon ones. So in the right order it should be dungeon DLC in early 2019, followed by the chapter, second dungeon DLC and a small story one like CWC and Murkmire towards the end of the year.

The destruction of Argonian racial passives. Making all races more equal. Is what seems to be coming.

What I'd like to see coming is: more resources put into base game functionality, bug fixes and performance improvements.

When it comes to where the game should go In PvP especially, but also PvE. I would like the game to be focused more on individual skill and not relying on sets and enchant proccs to play the game for you. Prime example is werewolf where you might lose DPS if you do something other than light attack.

Right. Unless 2019 is the year they decide to dial back on the quarterly commitments. They seem to change plans every year, so don't expect that 2019 will be like 2018 until they explicitly say it.

I don't know about you, but I still have not finished Murkmire. The dag-nabbit CWC holiday interrupted it. It is a good DLC, and I see no reason to move on. I will return after I finish collecting Event Tickets. I don't think I will take up residence in Murkmire, though.

Don’t see myself logging in again unless drastic adjustments are made to itemization and content (social tools especially). Once you step away, you realize how much other games offer that ESO doesn’t. I still have a psychological attachment to the game through, so I check in on the forums from time to time, hopeful something changes for the better.

Early part of the year there should be some huge base game update like how we got housing a couple years back and outfitting last year. So something along those lines I suppose if plans stay the same.

Big chapter mid year, again if plans stay the same. People are speculating Elsweyr. Someone datamined Elsweyr furnishing packs that had conservatory items from that region a while back so it could very well be the home of the Kahjiit, but we don’t really know for sure.

I’ve been playing FFXIV off and on for years and they’ve never grown stale, but constantly reinvented themselves with awesome content and features. Don’t put words in my mouth, keep them in your own please.
