Minion won't open

I realize it's a 3rd party program. Just looking to see if anybody has any advice on how to get it working again.
It worked fine for the last year plus. All of a sudden in the last week or so, it no longer opens when I try to run the program. No icon in tray. I tried to update it from the minion site but it says it's running. Task Manager shows it to be not running. Unistalled it. Folders remain in the /user/username/appdata folder. Tried to delete the old folders after unistalling the program. Won't let them be deleted because it says a program is using them.
Download the app again and reinstall as Minion2...

fgoron2000✭✭✭✭i had this happen a lot off and on when i first started using it, then it hadn't done it at all for quite a while. however recently it started doing it again, prolly over the last couple weeks or so...my guess is some recent conflict between windows & minion was introduced & hard to say from which side...i'm gonna set it to run as admin & see if that makes a difference

fgoron2000✭✭✭✭I'm afraid that running as administrator did not resolve the issue that sometimes minion does not open for me. It does seem to open again after restarting the pc, but i haven't yet found a better solution... any other thoughts?
