I am lagging badly now

Hello I am experiencing lag issues

Previously I had between 100-200 Ping, that was normal for me.

Now It's at best 260 ping, but is usually always red, sometimes at 999+

It's horrible! Unplayable and terrible, and I don't know if there's anything i can do to fix this because nothing is running on my computer, it's all going to ESO but it's bad!!!!!!!!

Sometimes it just happens. Could be anything almost anything from your hardware, ISP, a bad hop on your route to ZOS’ servers, something on ZOS’ end, who knows. If it’s persistent start with simple fixes, repair game files, see if your computer needs updates, make sure you’re using an Ethernet, restart your router and make sure all settings are good. If that doesn’t need work or it doesn’t clear up in a day or so contact your ISP about it. Where do you live? What server do you connect to? Are you out of server country? If you are try Mudfish which is a pay per use routing service with gaming in mind and greatly helps to reduce the number of hops and stabilize or lower ping. Other questions that might be applicable are is your router or modem (if you have one) very old? Does any of your equipment need updating?
