Does any mod can assist me? Since the earlly access I've sent a ticket about this issue and I don't receive response from anyone. So, who I need to kill to get attention? Please, is not my ISP problem and I paid for a service (I bought imperial edittion) and nothing so far. Please... ;/

I'm having the same problem. Last night before they shutdown eu server for maintanence the game was working fine, but today I can't get past "Requesting character Load" screen....

This usually occurs when there is heavy server load. I think its a bug though as it might be dropping the connection and not retrying...

But this has always been the case for you? That is strange... Have you tried running the game directly as admin? (ESO.exe in installation folder > Right click > Properties > Run as Administrator).

Yes, I tried everything in my power but no luck. None of devs/mod seems to think this is a big deal because it happens for some people out there. So I think I just lost my money. Shame, I'm following the TES since Arena.

I was having the same issue since the last maintence but it seems the issue was with my connection. I was using my LTE router at first but when I switched to another connection(VDSL2, fixed line) I could log on just fine. Hope this helps.

    Hail Defilers of Molag Bal!

Here are some methods to help you with your issue!

    1) When you reach the character select screen, select Options on the left side of the screen. In Graphic Settings, select Minimum and save the settings.

While the game may look less than favorable, your character should load about 2-3 minutes.

    2) Make sure your video card drivers are up-to-date.

    3) The next thing we can do is adjust your video card to run the game at High Performance. The method of doing this varies depending on video card manufacturer and video card model. You will need to create a profile in the Video Card Control Panel that sets the card to run the game at Max/High Performance while running the game.

Setting up a High Performance profile for an Nvidia Video Card.

Open the Nvidia control panel. This can be done usually by clicking the appropriate icon in the bottom right of the computer on the Task Bar. You can also right-click directly on your desktop and you should see Nvidia Control Panel in the list.
Under 3D settings, select the Manage 3D Settings. The Manage 3D Settings window displays on the right.
Click the Program Settings tab at the top in the Window on the right.
Your first step is to select a program to customize. Click the drop down and select eso.exe.
Your second step shows a list of settings for the program. We need to look for the Feature Power Management Mode and change the option on the right to Prefer maximum performance.
At the bottom select Apply and close out of the Nvidia Control Panel.

    If you have ATI:

Setting up a High Performance profile for an ATI Video Card.

Open the Catalyst Control Center. This can usually be done by clicking the appropriate icon in the bottom right of the computer on the Task Bar. You can also right-click directly on your desktop and you should see Catalyst Control Center in the list.
The Catalyst Control Center will open. In the top right corner is a button that says Preferences. Make sure that Standard View is selected.
Next, select Gaming, then under Gaming Performance, select Standard 3D settings.
Move the slider to Optimal Performance.
Click Apply and close the Catalyst Control Panel.

Now try running the game as administrator.

I have the same problem. I have never been able to log in, I have tried all of the ideas above, along with, checking for updates, running repair and trying with my firewall down.

At this point I am able to make characters, but cannot actually get past the 'requesting character load'. I have let it sit at that stage for 30+ mins after each of the attempted fixes and have not had any luck.

Nor here. At any rate...this is not what our PCs are designed to do to. If the machine is capable of handling ultra, why setting things to min quality, there must be another solution ZOS.
