Discord: https://discord.gg/Cp62WBX

Raid Times: Friday-sunday 5-9PST Mon-Thur are hit or miss depending on availability of Raid leads. If raids happen on those days they will be posted in discord. Each member of GoD is recommended to be at all of them, but 2 minimum per week.

WHO ARE WE?

The Guardians of Daggerfall is an Organized Ball group PVP guild. What does that mean? It means that each member has a raid roll. AOE DPS,AOE Heals,AOE support. Each member is required to be in one of our specific Builds using Specific gear for that build and job. Even skills are chosen for what to use. This culminates together to create a ball group. We are all chill pvpers. Organized for a common cause. We often RP for fun, because you cant be serious all the time

What is a ball group?

A ball group is a group of 12-16 players(Even sometimes 24, but 16 is a more manageable size) that spams AOE skills in battle. using buffs, and synergies meant for group play. When we strike, we strike lethally. Often using 70% of our ultimates AT THE SAME TIME to git rid of enemies fast and to take an objective(or just farm AP). This type of PVP group is often Hated and blamed for causing lag. It is the most effective kind out there. A Ball groups skill doesn't com from blasting ultimate all the time, It comes from movement and communication. Ultimate Bombing isn't the main thing about a ball group. It is only a part. A ball groups TRUE SKILL comes from how effectively they can stay alive and kill players WITHOUT blasting all ultimates.

This Requires Skilled Leadership

Our Raid Leaders are veteran PVPers. Our main Raid lead is our Guild Leader: @Nicholas5234 . Nick has observed the best and studied Videos of the best religiously He has also created a unique style of leadership. All of his calls are masterly executed and logical. One of the reasons I am in this guild IS BECAUSE of how well Nick can shot call. He is truly a Wunderkind of ESO PVP leading. Situational Awareness and calm under pressure, create success.

The Team

Leaders are nothing without their team. The thing that makes us successful is our members. The members of Guardians of Daggerfall are most importantly great listeners. Ball groups fall apart if no one listens. They understand WHY they are wearing the gear we tell them to. They understand WHY they need specific CP allocations and skills to press. But most importantly, they are skillful and communicative. To Join us, means to become us. To become us, means to be chill, get down and boogie and Rally around the cry: "LOOKS LIKE AP's BACK ON THE MENU, BOIS!"

Composition

Magblade: DPS/Bombing

STAM WARDEN: DPS/stam heals/Permafrost(our main DPS class in our ball)

Stam Sorc: Rapids spam/Negate

Mag Sorc: Execute/Roots/Negates/Purges

Mag Warden: Defiles/offheals/permafrost/Purges

Stam/Mag DK: Defiles/Shifting standard/Support

MagPlar: Healers

We have raid builds for other classes, but these are the main ones we have used.

About

<Guardians of Daggerfall>was created over a year ago by @nicholas5234. At the time it was known as <Pugs of Daggerfall> and was a Casual PvP guild for DC only. Most days, you would find Nick and other PVP officers leading around pug groups playing the map. Inviting everyone, even if they had trouble staying on crown. Eventually leading to the creation of a Discord server and mass inviting anyone who would PVP. PD was well known and a popular group to be in, but wasnt THE BEST out there at the time.

That... all... changed

Being increasingly frustrated with the Daggerfall Covenants performance after DC guilds went to play for the Aldmeri Dominion, Nick noticed there was something more needed. Something better. Little by little, Nick would start posting raid builds specifically meant for group pvp he would often fine tune them and fix them. changing them per each patch. Raid requirements changed. From now on you needed specific requirements to join the group. If you didn't have them, but were in the guild, Nick would work with you. Often using his own gold to make sure you had the gear needed to play . Nick believed that as long as you were cp160, knew how to listen to orders and press buttons, you can learn to pvp with the right gear. Skill and movement will come over time .

Massive Changes were coming.

Wanting to go further and to maximize skill, the Members of <Pugs of Daggerfall> decided to create a New guild: <Guardians of Daggerfall>
We were no longer a group of casual pvpers who pugged around. We were starting to learn how to Think, move and play together as a team. Only those willing to play in Raid builds using specific skills and gear were allowed in.

We quickly became a force to be reckoned with, becoming one of the best DC Organized PVP guilds in Vivec NA PC. Being able to wipe our Ball group rivals rather than run from them. Night after night, gaining so much AP and playing the map with precision. We were becoming like some of the best guilds from Vivecs Hall of Fame: like <Vehemence>(<omni) or <Dracarys>. Dracarys is an EP guild that we respect and would often learn from and study videos from. Trying to hone our own skills and get better.

Join us on our discord and post in #Recruiting. Looking forward to talking with you. Always mail @nicholas5234 (In Game)with any questions, but he'll just pester you to get on Discord

The Daggerfall covenant needs more competent PVPers. Will you heed the call and save a Dying Faction? helping it rise again and be an Alliance to be reckoned with?

I am not a member of this guild because I don't PvP much these days, but I did run with them during the anniversary event and they were fun to group with. Organized, but good-natured. Just make sure you are okay with running the skills they want you to run to benefit the group.
