Does anyone know how frequently M'aiq moves?

I found M'aiq in Kenerath's Roost but can't find him in Auridon. From what I have heard he can be found on the dock in Smuggler's Cove but I can't find him there so I assume he moves around.
Does anyone know how frequently he moves? Is it worth checking every hour or does he only move once a day?

Frosthawk✭✭✭M'aigs location is random and he doens't stay too long on any location, in beta it was around 15mins. You can find him eventually if you want wander around.EU - Adlmeri Dominion

Mulk✭✭✭I've seen him in completely random spots, but I never thought to be sure if it was an eyeball or not. Saw him twice in the Rift, twice in Eastmarch, once in Deshaan, once in Auridon...he always makes me laugh.
