New Player- "HarvestMap" help

So recommended I get HarvestMap, so I did and holy ***! My map is totally covered in ***, I can't even see my player Icon or quest locations or anything. Is this how it is suppose to be? I want to be able to easily find wood/ore etc since I seem to pass it up alot BUT I can't play like this.

Any way to clean this up etc or this is it?

    Check the addon description on esoui and the addon's settings. You can disable individual pin types or display them only on compass/world.
