I know it's been asked in the other thread - but can anyone confirm whether the daily rewards are character or account bound?

IE do I need to log into specific characters if I want them to have the reward, or can I log into any character and put them into the bank till I need/want to use them?

They have stated in another thread that they will be changing it to display only when a new reward is available or when they change the featured items. So, it should eventually be only daily (at least until that month's dailies are all claimed).

I'm looking forward to getting some AP, the crates and the pet. A lot of the stuff is just one 'DESTROY', but then again it's completely for free.

The addon hideloginannouncement (all one word) closes the login ad and does not crash or have UI errors at all. You might want to try that one.

The UI LUA errors in No Thank You can be fixed easily - updating 1 file,
as it is not the Ad blocker part that is producing the errors but the notification handler part

ZOS's ego trips are another matter & No Thank You mostly handles this

Also I would rather trash the junk directly than claim it - open inventory - find it - destroy

For a newer player the items may actually have some use, for me they are just going to occupy inventory space & some of them have zero value

@ZOS_GinaBruno can you tell us when the official reset time is on these daily rewards? I know there's a timer but by my estimate (around 4pm PST?) that makes the reset time different from the time dailies reset. Just want to know for certain so I don't miss any rewards! Thanks!

Lol, you must have missed the last few time we had free crates just for logging in. So many complaints. People were actually saying they were going to avoid playing, so they didn't get the crates. There is looking a gifthorse in the mouth, then there is this *** ridiculously insulting crowd.

If half or a majority of the stuff in question is so worthless than dont even want it. The crates are the only things there remotely worth anything maybe the pet too.

The AP? urgh I can attack one person and then go afk for 5 minutes at chalman and still earn more AP.

They dont provide a reason to log in for most of the time with the exception of logging in every single day to make it count towards getting too the crates thats it. Its dumb.

8PM Eastern is the reset time.

It´s free stuff. They give you free stuff. And there is being critical and being a *inser random swearword* for saying that the system is **** because you think you deserve more. You deserve more and better free stuff. If this was Charlie and the chocolate factory ... well forum guidelines wont let me go there.

The only reason you're all getting spammed with notification is because you set lua errors to appear there in the "No, thank you" addon.

I disabled that function for now. Getting a pop up window each day with a free item is better than thousands of lua errors and I know that I will forget about the daily rewards if I hide the window.

I don't want to hate or complain about free stuff, but these are the trashiest login rewards I have ever seen in any game. TES Legends great rewards had me hoping. The word "reward" is key here, as this does not feel rewarding besides the crown crates.

All these rewards do, is fill my inventory with 2nd class crown stuff that I don't need. The values of the universal and interesing rewards (gold, tel var, AP) is way too low. While I understand that some of these things may entertain very new players for 10 minutes until they are used up, not even a new player will think that 250 Tel Var is appealing.

This seems like a very big Crown Store promotion to unknowing players to me. Some games, including TES legends which is basically ESO with cards, has rewards that even animate me to open that game every day even though I don't play it. But these ESO rewards would never have me thinking "Oh Lord Trinimac, I must at least login today as I don't want to miss out on this"

May this one make a few suggestions yes?

Perhaps once or twice a week have the rewards be a box? A style stones box, a motif pages box, a consumables box, a coin pouch, a jewellery box.

That way instead of knowing for certain what is on the table - oh five roast chickens again - the box may potentially contain something very tempting - or five more roast chickens.

Rarer style stones, motif pages, jewellery - the potential lure of these may be greater than knowing you are for certain getting five roast chickens.

Sometimes perhaps there is the chance for the rewards to be very good in these boxes - but you do not know until you open them.

Does this sound a little too much like crates? Well perhaps with some important differences. These boxes do not require coin to be handed over and you would at least know if you were getting a motif page or a consumable or a shiny thing in advance.

Think of them yes as like the anniversary boxes or a really, really heavy sack instead.

This way they are both more tempting so the gods benefit when we wake up and sometimes actually more rewarding so we benefit too - at least sometimes.

I like the idea...bit o' mystery but sure as the sun rises in the east, folks would start caterwauling about not knowing what was in the boxes and then feeling forced to log in daily.

Some people find value in every piece of garbage. But free and useful are NOT synonyms. In fact, my inventory space is more precious than junk I cannot use. Do you know what I used to do with gold jewelry from vet trials I had no use for? Correct, destroy/vendor. Would I have rather not looted it? Yes, would have saved me a few clicks.

This way of marketing/trying to look generous does seem to work on some (if not many) though. "It's free, it's super cool, ZOS is awesome and generous."^^ (I do think ZOS is awesome, but not bercause of garbage they gift me)

Don't get me wrong. I'm all for free crates and the chance on some sweet mounts. edit: And I'm actually grateful for it. Ty ZOS, much love.

Jupp, they would start complaining how they are forced to log in daily and then they´d *** about how droprates are totally rigged. Also, this would obviously be the start of p2w and these free rewards are yet another moneygrabbing scheme because hey - it is ZO$ after all. /s (just to be sure)
