Quest bugged? Restoring the Guardians.

Hello all,

I am on the portion of this quest where I'm supposed to summon and defeat Blaze. He can not be summoned it seems. Is this quest bugged or on a timer of some sort and is there a work-around?

    All im saying is they have till offical launch to fix the bugs that have been in the game since at least january or im getting a refund and never coming back :)

    Reloging fixed it for me and the summoning item appeared! But now I am stuck at Balreth...

    Ragebinder was working for me last night, just cant get blaze to spawn like everyone else

    Very annoying. Smooth launch with the exception of the bugged quests though. Not too shabby I suppose. Still, these bugs have been known for some time now. Time to squash them.

    I've relogged multiple times, and I still haven't been able to see the interactable.

    I logged in and out maybe 4-5 times. I got the 1st to pop alone and logged back into someone else getting the 2nd to pop.

    Balreth is buggy though. Kill him but no target to collect the essence. Some have said groups have gotten him.

    I just killed Balreth ran up to collect his soul and notice it flew to the last place the npc was standing, think that is the issue people are having didnt work in the end.. still now i cant get him to respawn and try to catch it

    I left Ash Mountain, logged on and off 2 or 3 times and then went back in and completed the quest. Had to wayshrine out as the exit was bugged but at least was able to complete it.Kill him quickly and it seems to work alright.

    I got the same issue. summon and defeat ragebinder, but I have no place to press to summon him.

    I managed to get Ragebinder summoned, but Blaze is a no go. Been like that for a day now :(

    Finally got that part done. I had to relog multiple times, and while I'm not sure this was necessarily part of it, I did end up going back to Davon's Watch before returning to Ash Mountain before relogging one more time.

    Neither of them seem to spawn and there are a lot of people that are stuck on this quest. Nothing seems to be done about it and the 'fixes' don't work. This quest needs to be fixed or able to be skipped asap as it leads to the next lot of quests.

    Same problems - one char did finally get through this quest then the same thing happened with Balreth. This really needs to be addressed soon lots of people stood on Ash mountain looking lost and angry.

    I eventually got it to work... but only by going down to the quest NPC, abandoning the quest, relogging, and retaking the quest.

    Not sure if it had anything to do with it working, but it's worth a shot.

    Oh, and the Balreth bug, at least, has been acknowledged in the customer support forum. They say they found a fix, but I'm waiting until after they try to patch it to get my hopes up.

    Relogs? Easily 12. It may just be the luck of whether you come into a bugged instance or not.

    Server came down and this quest is still bugged. Are you guys for real?

    It isn't bugged in every "channel". The issue appears to arise when many players are around.

    I was able to get it done, but only after logging out and in (of the entire game, not just character) several times over the course of a day and a half. Eventually you are loaded into a "channel" that has the objects working for the quest, for both mobs. Takes a while, though, for many people.

    Exactly. Not many people know it, but heavy traffic is causing this issue for all quests. If you log on during peak hours, it's really bad. But because the game is new, it's bad most of the time.

    The masses are bugging these quests out. But they don't have the structure to handle this.

    Lotro - dynamic layers, that's what they need. Thin down these crowds.

    But that aint gonna happen.

    Leave the area, get everyone around you to leave the area as well.

    Come back in 10 min and it should work. I've found that it doesn't refresh if there are people waiting around it.

    Managed to pass a quest. Accidently. Logged in early in the morning, and Blaze was avaliable. For Ragebringer made 2 relogs.
    Too cold for nord?

    I have been trying to do this quest for a few days now and I have tried everything that everyone else seems to have tried without success. I'm hoping I am not the only one and that it will be possibly resolved after this server maintenance.
