The lack of quests is pretty crazy lol, I love the game so far it's awesome, but seriously there needs to be more quests in all zones

I agree that I have been having issues with being under leveled. Starting around level 8, I noticed that the quests were higher level than me. Right now I am level 12, but all the quests I have are level 15. Normally in an mmo, I will out level quests.
Not sure if it really an issue with not enough quests or not enough xp for the quests we do have, but the scaling could use work.

I noticed this in beta as well, my recommendation around this issue is to do some pvp after level 10, to help with the leveling process.

There are craploads of quests, what there aren't are bread trails to lead you by the nose to them. Peek inside a cave, look over that hill, explore and you'll find them.

I have found quests are better presented and explained, with better objectives and less "fetch" than in other MMOs. This also means we are trading quantity for quality. For Aldmeri Dominion in particular, I've been starting a quest list with all available quests in any area. I have Khenarthi's Roost List from my beta playtime but the dialogue and such isn't complete yet:

    Main Quest
    • Soul Shriven in Coldharbour is completed in Auridon
    • Storm on the Horizon in Eagle's Strand
    • The Perils of Diplomacy in Mistral
    • The Tempest Unleashed in Mistral
    • To Auridon in Mistral

    Side Quests
    • The Family Business in Speckled Shell Plantation
    • A pinch of Sugar in Laughing Moons Plantation
    • Cas Adrift in
    • The Root of the Problem in
    • Dark Knowledge in
    • Moon-Sugar Medicament in
    • Tears of the Two Moons in

I found in beta there was a point I thought I had run out of quests and was under level for the next area and was getting my butt handed to me. It was very frustrating. Then I discovered an area I hadn't explored and voila, enough quests to get over that hump (and more).

You really have to explore the entire map, A lot of quests will pop up and get you where you need to be, but once you get to haven area it's to suck, after that it's not too bad as long you explore.

Some more woudl be nice, though lol

What lack of quests? I'm still over levelled 11 and doing level 8-10 quests.

Its pretty easy to see the locations with quests on map, anything who look like an settlement has quests, most places who look like ruins have them too, but can also be quest targets so do the settlements first.

Grinding just make you go in circles.
Asking ZoS for nerfs is as stupid as asking for close air support from the death star.

The quests in this game have decent plots and decent writing. I very much prefer that over hundreds of mechanical fetch quests.

If quests were added that had the quality of the ones I am finding it would be quite welcome. But I suspect those who are already demanding more are also those who don't bother to read the quest other than to see the next advancement and then race off like the game was an obstacle course they wanted to get through instead of enjoy.

Can't say I feel the same. I'm actually over leveled for several quests. I found many quests that I missed during beta because I have been exploring more. I would highly recommend wandering off the beaten path.

Exactly. Bring up the map and you can see unexplored areas by looking at obvious places the roads lead to yet have no symbols for what is there.

Often you will get the quest that leads you into the next zone long before you have completely explored your current zone.

When I find myself running quests 3 levels above me it is usually my fault because I leave the previous zone with areas unexplored.

TLDR: Travel every road before moving on to the next zone.

Also, don't discount the viability of killing mobs....

This is not a game like WoW where questing gives you all or a majority of the XP.

Explore, yes. Kill mobs you see while exploring as well. Kill mobs you see while questing, kill mobs you see while picking up crafting mats.

The mobs are evil, kill them.

if you kill mobs, you will lvl fast & not be underleveled. If you ignore all mobs and just complete quest objectives, you will lvl slower and be underleveled.

One thing that i found to be annoying while questing with my brother last night in a group is that each group member needs to click on each quest objective. If you need to destroy 5 ant mounds, then the other group members need to destroy those mounds as well...

This is ridiculous, if your doing a quest as a group everyone should get credit.
