Skill points

SteveCapello
Hi, everybody! I want to apologize for my bad English in advance. It would be desirable to lift a subject of the panel of skills and why there only five slots for skills, I the 12th level and at me already 2 skills more than can get into the dashboard, I consider it to wish extremely silly the panel of everything on 5 skills when in other games the number of buttons which it is possible use on skills isn't limited, dear Adminestration and developers I ask you to make at least 10-20 panels for skills that to players was comfortable to play and use all strength of the character. Thanks in advance!

I understand what you are saying, but having only 5 skills plus the ultimate has been known for a very long time. This is the way they wish us to play the game, and there is basically no chance to get anymore than this since it would change the programming of the game. coming from other mmo's i would prefer more skills as well but sadly it wont be happening.

I'm happy with the slots available. At 15 you get to "swap weapons" which means when you swap you equip the second weapon and the hotbar reloads the abilities you chose to use for that weapon.

So, as an example, you can have one weapon as a bow, the other as a 2-hand axe and two completely different sets of skills loaded when you swap from one to the other.

Yes but is this available in combat?

At 15 you will have 12 skills when you have weapon swap. The genre is moving away from having 25 skills on your bar because continuously watching cool downs is, to all intensive purposes, boring. I suspect that given the choice between the current format or something like SWTOR/LOTRO etc, the majority of gamers would choose this current format. It also helps with balancing don't forget.

Guild Wars 2 did this and honestly, it's kind of tedious.

I can deal with it, but I really do wonder why they went with this system. It's limiting and clumsy.

The combat is good though, it's not a big deal. I'm nitpicking.

When I first started playing, I felt the same way. But after a while, I adjusted. Then I went back to my Affliction Warlock in WoW and counted how many abilities I actually use during combat, it was a little over twelve. Don't get me wrong, I'll always want more. But this is ok, give it time, you'll soon appreciate how liberating it is.
