cant get out of prison cell after character creation

i have created my character and looted everything i was able to find in the cell but the ghost looking guy is labled as offline with the quest marker labled as tracker goal text.... i have tried logging out and relogging. no good, also idek how to save my game before i log out...

Apparently when this happens, you just have to create a new character.

People need to take heed of the warning the third post mentions, pasting that blindly into your own client could Royally screw things up. It's not clear which setting 'fixes' the problem but there's a good chance of things getting worse if someone who doesn't understand what they're doing does that.
