The old forums on the Bethsoft site were always a temporary placeholder. They're gone.

Well, a lot of the topics were just beta topics. For instance bug/feedback were just for beta, things like sanguine's section was a general discussion area for beta testers.
They added a lot of stuff in, and removed some stuff.

Personally I think we need to collapse some of the forums, such as the different skill line forums as so many are unneeded and unuseful.
We should also have a general discussion area, like the tester forums (e.g. sanguine's section).

    Dead and buried I'm afraid.

But there are a lot of useful things being posted hourly within this forum.

    It'll get there.
Been here since Feb 2014 - You'd think I'd be half reasonable at this game by now...

@Inversus problem is that Bethesda forum was TESO "general discussion" and comunity hub. And all was wiped :'(
This forum never get even 50% popularity of Bethesda one -most likely cos its not well known -folks rather move to Tamriel Foundry or Reddit.

its also worth mentioning that this forum have some very bothersome "upgrades"
If you dont have a sub -you can read it, but you cant post

Well, this forum only just properly opened. It was only open for a couple of days each beta.
Hopefully they get this forum sorted, no idea.

The Bethesda one was only ever temporary, and many beta players didn't even know it existed.

More importantly, an official game forum should require a subscription for posting. There is absolutely nothing that would require someone who doesn't have this game to post on this forum.

It was temporary for two years... It was a community hub, no matter how you look at it. And now this community feeling has diminished as both Beth forum and general discussion beta sections were wiped. This forum will grow, I have no doubt, but the migration could have been easier.

I just wish they let us keep our personalized forum avatars and didn't wipe our signatures when they changed it over. But, alas.

    It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new liiiife for us..
    And we're feelin' good!
