If you're a normal PvPer then you'd understand what armor they're using based off of health and abilities used.
Example if I see a player with 30k Health they're most likely rocking 5 piece heavy.
If I see a player using shuffle well they're using medium armor (5 or more).
If I see a player using immovable well they're using Heavy armor (5 or more).
If I see someone using annulment well they're using Light armor (5 or more).
The only issue would not being able to outright see what monster set they're using but that too is also a stupid remark as you can already hide it + you can tell as soon as it procs.
It is flawed (taking a simple hide helmet feature and changing it in a way to encourage people to buy more outfit slots) but beyond that it works fine and doesn't introduce any new issues- seeing as you can already use costumes in PVP.

Inflammatory language? Are you high?)
I know they can't be I'm pointing out the fact that those can't while others can, which doesn't seem fair to me for the classes using them.

Yeah you can tell by the buffs they use, skills and so on but it will just look plain stupid if everyone is wearing heavy armor lol. I for one use magicka builds and this is an advantage to me, I could simply use dual wield on the back bar and look like a stamina build lol. Then I would be treated as such, meaning that my opponent won't know I'm magicka until I use a damage ability and that might be too late for him. Really hard to notice the warden class if the player only uses buffs.

I'm only asking this because of the new guide the posted. So you can make your swords look like axes and your light armor look like heavy. This is going to be cool for PvE and just for showing off how great you look but in PvP this is very bad if you ask me, everyone will be wearing heavy armor (or so they look) except for tanks probably who are going to be naked (or so they look). You won't even know what you're fighting anymore until they pop some skill, does that guy have axes? Swords? Daggers? Two staffs? 3 bows? Questions.
Also what can the staff be replaced with? Or the bow?
You could wear a rag and look like a top level player in dungeons, that's cool.
I know that there are costumes but it's one thing to wear a costume and another to wear two axes when they are daggers, ridiculous.
One of the top tier healing builds in PvP uses sword and shield on the back bar. Heavy Seducers on magicka users for a while was a thing in PvP.
I've seen a full raid all riding wolves and wearing bath towels so I don't think the new clothing system is going to change anything as far as game play goes.
