Commetns and question on home storage system/capacity

Anyone knows if those 360 slots for storage (4 chests with 60 slots and 4 coffers with 30), will be double with ESO Plus?

I mean, probably only with jewelery stored/spread along all my alts, I have more than 360 necklace/rings.

I mean, let's say, one of those coffers with 30 spaces, what can I possible put there to have it organized? Necklaces are more than 30, rings, swords, staffs, everything has more than 30 models, so...

I thought I was going to really store stuff, like thousands of spaces, and then be able to sort them in order, like; monster helms/shoulders here, heavy armor there, medium there, light there, jewelery here, weapons there and so...

But it seems it will be just another messy/insufficient storage option to drop random stuff there.

If so, I can see I will never be able to have my stuff stored in an organized way since storage capacity will be short OR spread along several storage units (guild bank, banker, alts, home big chests, home small chests, etc), and UI will be basic as it is currently (no good looking addons that do this so far).

I hope I'm missing something and the home storage system works different...

As far as I know, they won't be doubled for ESO+. Still, it's a total of 360 more inventory slots, so I don't have any complaints. It's up to you on how you want to organize your chests, but offering a free (meaning achievable in game, not via crowns only) way to store more items only sounds like a good thing to me. It will still be easier than having mules.

I do agree that the UI could use some updating though. Personally, I would be happy with better sorting options in the bank and/or a search function (especially in guild stores).

From what I understand those are per account, right? So if I place another box of the same type in another of my homes it will not add to my inventory storage but rather create another pointer to the same item store?

So what you are saying is that you complained forever about not having it, then they provide it. But not well enough for what YOU want so it is crap? why dont you store them by sets. and if you have that many items maybe you should get rid of a few. Just be happy they are giving us 360 more storage slots then we have currently. Why does everyone always have to make everything they give us seem like its pointless and stupid with how it was applied?

So, having the complete sets of necklace + 2 rings for a lot of sets, you are telling me I need to destroy/sell some of them because I don't have enough storage space to store them?

What about the combination of helment/shoulders in different traits I have for all monster sets? I should decon them and farm them again when more space is available?

What about all the 5-piece sets in different traits (PvP/PvE) I have? Decon too and farm them once again?

What about vMA, vDSA, Asylum, etc. unique weapons I have? Get rid of them too?

Nice solution yours.

I'm not saying I don't appreciate ZOS implementing home storage, I'm just giving my opinion and desire for it to have more than 360 spaces.

A new alt can have more than 360 spaces already, so I thought HOME STORAGE SYSTEM would have more storage capacity than what a simple character can have.

How are you storing them all now? Regardless, this is giving you many more spaces to work with.

How can a new alt get more than 360 spaces? It's a max of 200 with bag space and mount training.

Regarding atl, I got confused with ESO Plus (only works for bank space).

Currently, I have them all disorganized spread all over my alts, several alts created only as mules (so very bad workaround).

Currently I have 4 fully maxxed out bag+horse slots chars sitting at at least 180/200. The coffers will allow me to free up 2 of them. Not bad. Does anyone know if those can be placed in homes of any size or only in large homes?

I appreciate getting the spaces. 360 is way more than I thought we would actually get when implemented.

That said, I do wish that there were special versions of furniture instead so I could have armor in wardrobe/dresser, daggers in my nightstands, food in sacks/barrels, kegs with crafted drinks. That would be fun!

Coffers and chests will be special furniture (can't recall for sure how they are labeled, not regular furniture atleast). The various house sizes might have different amounts of special furniture allowed when this goes live as it is now. Also ESO+ doubles this right now. So only the mansions might have the special furniture slots to place all at once. So there is that.
