✭✭I can understand that a person might want to buy class change to avoid grinding up a new toon, to keep achievements earned, etcetera, but why offer to spend that many crowns?
Could be one of ZO's crown store goblins drooling over how much money they could charge for something like this.
Or it might be a sufficiently desperate player who has invested hundreds of hours into a character in a profession they now no longer want to play. They want to keep all their horse riding, trait research, motifs, recipes and importantly, name and it's worth $100 to them.
It was very annoying but I deleted a bunch of characters and re-leveled them as wardens. Waited until Morrowind was on sale just recently though to "thank" ZO for putting me through this, and another half year of horse training etc. Thankfully I didn't enjoy any of the other professions enough to invest too heavily in most of my alts. But it's a bummer that my previous main character with an awesome name is now just a crafting alt.0 -

Get 200 is nothing for something ill enjoy for a long time. And if you read above, i was exagerating to make a point. Zos would never implement it for 20k crowns, i would think something around 5k.

Sounds like a no-win relationship to me. You’re so attached to this game you’d drop $150 more on it, but at the same time you low key hate it so much that you don’t want to take the time to level a new toon.
But let’s just give ZOS a reason to circle nerf and push people to class change. Cause gaming companies have such a proven track record of not tanking gameplay in the favor of extra, post purchase transactions.

It's not really ridiculous though, if you compared the amount of time it would take to level a new character to how long it would take to make $200 or even $50, it's just not worth it. It might be for something you enjoy, but it's silly waste of money.
