Make Nightblade class PvE only

Or just disable invisibility in PvP. This is too much harassment from one abusive skill. Lots of people are left the game because of harasment. Thank you.

p.s. Save your "radiant magelight" and "detect pot" nonsense. It doesn't work; it has never worked -- in fact both have been nerfed into uselessness. (Magelight is actually only now useful for enabling invis abusers to empower their insta-gib combos). There is no counter. Just a broken class that should be limited to PvE only.

I've only been successfully ganked once this entire summer of PVP. It's not that hard to defend against. I'm sorry you got killed, and I hope you take advantage of the wealth of instructional resources out there about ESO to find a way to succeed.

No. One of the great parts about this game to me is that everyone can sneak. NBs just have an in combat vanish and are a little better than others. Adds a nice dynamic.

NB in PvP is your friend, and your best protection against cloak.

Why?

Piercing Mark = no stealth for the target for 30 seconds.
Crippling Grasp = no running away while marked.
Shades = ganker damage reduced 15%.
Fear = gets them off you.

@josh.lackey_ESO you need more NB friends in Cyrodiil.

If you still have problems, and are a mag build, then Wizard's Riposte will help. The set is good against everyone, not just a single build, but it counters nightblades of all stripes particularly well, since they naturally will do crit damage more frequently than everyone else.

zenimax, please do not remove an entire stealth class.
every mmo has stealth in pvp, all wars and mmo type play has stealth classes and invisibility.
if remove stealth from eso, it would be the first mmo to not have invisibility and stealth.
i vote to Keep invisibility and stealth in eso as it is my only hope, and PvP stealth and invisibility is my only playstyle in eso since beta 2013.

I admit I'm far from being a fan of NB's (in PvP) and pretty new to forum but this must REALLY be the most ridiculous thing I've come across browsing these pages.

Maybe we should ban heavy armour from PVP as well because it makes people too hard to kill, or get rid of impenetrable trait for the same reason.

I don't like getting ganked by invisible NBs any more than the next guy, but I just see it as part of the game - not 'harassment'.

A NB cloaking is not harassment, that imight be the most ridiculous thing I've read. If people have seriously quit the game because they feel harassed when a player uses a stealth mechanic, the community is better for those people being gone.

Stealth-blade is a valid play style, just as much as tanks, healers, bombs, siege monkeys, and other roles. There are counters to each play style, your build will do well against some, and not against others. Asking for an entire class to be removed from pvp because you can't or don't want to counter it just reeks of petulance.

This is a base game class and asking to remove it is like walking into a theatre on release night and asking the director to write out a character you don't like . Instead of changing an existing game to suit your personal tastes how about find one that has what you like ?

No. Don't remove cloak from pvp. I don't play a nightblade and I've been killed by plenty of them (proc set or no). There are so many ways to pull someone out of stealth. A truly skilled nightblade can rock your world. A not so great one will fail their kill and then get thrashed because they're squishy. I think that's how an assassin type class should be.

He is going to tell you that sorcs are broken OP. Shields need to be nerfed to the ground and their dmg halved. Cause obviously anything that kills him is OP.

Nightblade, a class that ONLY excels in PvP, and you want it PvE only. Why take a NB then? Sorcs for DPS, DK for tank, Temps for heals, NBs for Master Crafter.

I mean, for those silly reasons, you might as well make Sorcs PvE only, for the amount of damage they do from a safe spot in a zerg, while NB's have to go Yolo on the front. And DK's as well, for how unkillable they might be at some times. And templars for keeping those guys alive for longer and buffing them.

Cloak, however doesn't need to nerfed, and detect pots work very well against them.
