I was running a new warden through grahtwood before the patch, near that little village where you have to work out who broke the green pact. There were so many bots in the little river valley just below that it was lagging the game. I'm talking a bot train of fifty plus all trying to kill the same bunch of cats. No way in hell were they getting xp, not spread over fifty for god sake.
I reported a few but more just kept turning up.
There's bots all over. Every damn where. Bots farmin mats, bots farmin exp. Just. all the bots.
Reporting them does NOTHING. it's pathetic.
I was accused of being a bot while I stood at a dolmen with my friend, waiting for it to respawn. We were just standing there chatting in whisper, and someone ran up to us and called us bots. Then today, just before the server went down, I was working on my Monster Hunter title, wherein I need to kill another 300+ ghosts to earn my title. So I was just running in circles outside of Davon's Watch, killing those ghosts because they are plentiful and respawn quickly. I wonder how many people thought I was a bot while i did nothing but continuously run around killing ghosts? All I'm saying is, I feel as though I'm back in Salem, and there is a witch hunt going on. I'm sure there are legitimate cases, but do you guys at least try to whisper these "bots" before you report them? Cause if not, you might be part of the problem as to why they pay little mind to bot reports. Because I am certainly not a bot, and if someone would take a second to whisper me, they would get something no BOT can produce, and that is a response to a whisper. Just a thought.
They don't ban based ONLY upon player opinion, they're going to look at you for repeditive behaviours (and no human movement is absolutely repeditive, even if you do the same thing over and over). The only reason to feel defensive about it is if you were actually botting/exploiting.
You should have a look at LoL policy, they insta ban you just for telling someone else to *** off in the general chat one time.
just curious, i am bit condused, some said, "rollback", was that full server rollback or some selected accounts that are effected.
i think it should be okay to discuss what went down for, as it is almost done and ready to go back up, only just brief words.
while waiting, i just made fresh homemade chili with cut up fresh grown veggies and balanced seasonings.

We don't know what the exploit is and zeni don't want to tell us-- there were rumors that guild banks were being highjacked with an authentication exploit, which would be widespread and mean a rollback. Given that Gina said it'd be about an hour and said nothing of a rollback, I think we're safe.

...what? Prime example of why at least some attempt at punctuation is important.
I think in that case a key to the code would be more useful...

Due to the nature of the exploit, we aren't able to divulge any details. That said, you can rest assured that we will be fixing it, and any accounts found to be abusing it will be taken care of.
That reasoning is entirely counterintuitive.... If you are fixing it, than why does it matter? Also, how would I or anyone else know they are doing something "wrong"if you don't clearly state WHAT IT IS THEY ARE DOING WRONG? You people cloak rules under a grey umbrella of "exploit" yet it's up to us to figure WHAT IS AN EXPLOIT, and what's intended? Please just be transparent with us, the people majing your pay check possible... Or do you want more people dropping subscriptions on you?
Very well said! I couldn't agree more! I have been a paid subscriber since launch, and I feel more and more like a piece of garbage that is lucky to have the ability to play the game in which I PAY TO PLAY. Major issues continue for months without being fixed, but then as soon as someone "exploits" one of their own malfunctions, they take the servers down immediately. But God forbid they actually FIX something with that much conviction.
Bye
Im sorry, did I say I was leaving?
Just giving you a way of not feeling like "a piece of garbage". Why torture yourself

It's ok. This can be a good place to chat in the meantime.
As "this is a good place to chat" and also there is a little time while fixing is underway I have 2 questions on Master Writs.
Although there was no ZOS announcement in patch notes or similar we see since HoR that Master Writs received now include Morrowind crafting stations and now the (non Crown Store) Motifs up to and incuding Morrowind.
- Has the list of qualifying Motifs for Writ drop improvement also increased to include these same Motifs up to Morrowind?
- If it has then have you also added in Furnishing Plans/Master Furnisher Achievement as Qualifying for Writ drop improvement too?
1. Yes, we added new Motifs to increase Writ drop chances with this latest update.
2. We have not yet incorporated this.
3. We'll do a better job at messaging changes like this in the future.
The frequency as well as the length of the downtime... I'm sorry, but to what end?? An exploit? Is that what we call bugs now? This is not ok.

unfortunately there is no key other than the difference between what I think and what I manage to type are hindered by my lack of typing skill edjumacation and the path back from a dtroke would love to be grammer punctuation and spell correct in my posts but often dail at all three so apologise ifn peeps cannot understand me Regards Mab

@ZOS_GinaBruno I am concerned about one thing. I am ESOplus says I get the DLC already, but I still have to pay for the DLC to get the items? In my opinion, that is false advertisement and it's very confusing. ESOplus gets the right to play the DLC but not the items.

Thought process is probably that subbing once would give you the content and items, and would you expect the items removed when subscription is removed? If there are items with it, maybe it should come separately at a heavy discount in crown store.

or use the crowns you get from subbing to buy the dlc to get the items... or something.
