Do Enchantment Procs from Melee Weapons Count as Direct Melee Damage?

✭✭Enchants get buffed by direct damage cp yes. Regardless if on melee or ranged weapons.

In this context the question is more about if they can proc sets such as Selene (15% chance on melee damage). I know they count as Direct, but I'm unsure if they also inherit the melee subtype from being on a melee weapon.0 -

I believe they do not. As an imperial, red diamond only procs off melee. Using a bow with enchant or duel wield skill flying blade to proc enchant with melee weapon, i found neither proc'd the passive.
I cant confirm or deny if procing enchants with melee changes this though.PS4 NA DC1
