Lag since Morrowind common?

I'll repost this in the general Xbox category.

Since Morrowind I have been having some serious lag just running around in PVE. I have nearly died more than once because my staff is not firing on all cylinders, so to speak. I hate to die! Is there any good/reasonable reason for this? I love Morrowind. It's beautiful and feels more like a single player experience than any other part of ESO, and since I play in off peak hours and things have simmered down since launch why is there so much lag? Is anyone else on Xbox experiencing this problem?

My ISP is not the greatest but I do have the best they offer. I don't play any other MMOs so I can't really compare otherwise.

I have the exact same problem. Since Morrowind had been released, I wasn't able to play ESO without lags for a single time.

i have experience crashes and long load times consistently since morrowind.

It's been terrible for me. Used to be isolated to certain areas. Now it is everywhere like the plague.

Playing in the weekday mornings (5am to 7:30am CST) is okay, but any time after 7pm CST on weekdays I get booted to the title screen with a message about not being able to connect to the server occurs at least once each evening. It's worse on weekends all day long. The servers can't handle all the traffic from players.

A couple of nights ago, so mid week but evening, the game froze completely and kicked me out. I tried 6 times over the course of an hour to get back in and timed out every time. I am home all day (being old has to have some advantage) so now I just play in the morning so I can have Morrowind mostly to myself. I only start up in the early evening if I want to go someplace I want some help with like a world boss.

Ran into it in the character creation screen of all places. I click a slider over one and it would take several seconds for the change to appear .

Just after posting the above, i started getting the thing wher you run along, and are suddenly popped back where you were about 5 seconds ago. Happening over and over.

All platforms I read, & I'm on EU & NA XBox, both of which suck since Morrowind dropped.
It's Orsinium all over again...

I'm getting nailed with disconnects all the time now. Even just doing simple quests to level my warden has been a nightmare. Skills don't fire, then after a 5 second or so delay, they all happen at once and my health is almost gone.

Can't even quest by myself.

I hear you, the skills firing late thing is serious. I've only had that problem once before after one of the earlier major patches..don't remember which..but I got killed by a skeever on Khenarthi's Roost and just quit for a while. I hate to die anyway; but to a skeever?! I haven't died this time but I am a better player and much quicker with a potion; still, I have come close and would have had I not been playing a warden with healing magic to help over a potion cool-down.
