Proc sets & Gear, CP, Level Cap, Class & Skill, Race...just an ever growing stack of variables & combinations. I would say I started this game late so I'm putting it out there. If and when was the line crossed?

It would go a long way if someone over there would simply change all proc sets into something more meaningful. Good example is morag tong and sheer venom sets. You could have combined these two and made a decently strong build in the past, but even that wouldn't come close to viper/selene/velidreth or whatever else (tremorscale) is popular nowadays.

So in the end, before one tamriel, you could have made a decently strong 'proc' build that wasn't (at least not much) over-performing, but now the options are a lot different and any class can make a proc build.

Take a look at buffed up skoria and the champion system. I got it on my sorc now too, 13k+ tooltip, hits almost as hard as my unbuffed frags, has a 5 second cooldown and I'm getting it all the time. It's crazy strong pressure. Mag DKs are even worse with it.

Removal of proc sets is a must if anyone ever hopes to have a somewhat more balanced pvp experience.

Having your armor do something that you're supposed to do, is lazy and if you ask me the only reason why this is happening today, is because they're opening the game to be more friendly to less skilled players and hopefully attract more players overall. But it's doing the opposite, new players go to pvp and get demolished by this and never step foot back in it again.

When I look at a set like viper, I see someone over there at ZOS saying 'don't worry if you're not good enough, here, have a hand'.

Broken is if it shows damage which u didn't taken.
As u see from the numbers, damage is high mitigated. Mostly ppl take ~4k from Viper.
Problem is that these sets do bigger amount of damage even without crits, than u can do with any other setup with crits in non-cp pvp.
This damage is instant, it doesn't require skill, u can even just light atackin.
Overall burst will be enouch for zergin anyone.
Same problems were with sieges in non-vet cyrodiil, they were too overpowered in non-cp in previous patches, how they are now i'm not sure.

What he means is the recap does not show all the damage you take, or even the damage as it is taken chronologically. You simply can't go by the recap. Another thing to think about is how long between each recap item.

Since it is not time stamped you have no way of knowing if Viper cooled down properly... I have never seen it double proc though I have seen 2 consecutive viper entries in my recap many times.

I've said it before... I don't see it as that big of an issue... Very rarely do I get bursted down from proc set users without time to react. I think a lot of what we are seeing is inexperienced and poorly geared players coming into BG's thinking they are going to face roll...

When this doesn't happen they immediately run to the forums to complain. The reality is you are playing against skilled players with min/maxed gear.

Another guy just created a thread complaining about the "state of PvP" describing his inability to survive damage during his stun duration. He didn't know how to CC break but apparently he knows how to post in the forums.

This just in player dies horrible death in a 1v3 situation. Player whines to developer, developer doesn't care.

You weren't going to survive three guys hitting you at once bud. Not if they have the mental faculties to hit their number buttons.

I kill zergs with smaller groups, like 5 vs 25. I don't understand what the problem is?

When you see more soldiers then you can handle, why do you attack?

Teamwork is always stronger in close combat. Do you use range/siege/guards/taunts or utilize the map in your favor, to hurt your enemies while they cant hurt you?

Do you use roll dodge, block, dodge passive buffs, heals or other protective abilities?

Do you move a lot to decrease directional damage/debuffs/stuns/red *** on the floor?

If 3 enemies owns you, bring 5 friends? " -Dont bring a knife to a gun fight"

Sometimes other players will simply be better then you. Learn from it, or give up and blame the game.
Guess what will help you to beat them?

Optimizm is nice but, Man, u better try to compare in a fight these "counter-play sets" before. Bad players,\good players, white\black, cold\hot.
There are more steps at least.
And, do u really think, everyone only copy builds from yourtube/twitch streamers?
As for me I really get enjoy from learning and testing, not from mechanical farm ap. And I try a lot with different combinations of sets and builds on different classes (have no only stamsorc), I analize their efficiency, know how and what to count.
And I'm sure that there is a real problem with instant procsets now.
Procusers are killable ofc, but way in which these sets work stealing enjoy from the game for them if they care about process also, and for such ones who don't use them.

Same for too overpowered cost-poisons. 33% with nowaday's system is too much same as 66% was too op with previous. Max should be ~20%, or 16 with maybe bigger chances to apply

Before proc sets were out in this game, baddies used to put on the forum screen shots of talons flame lash flame lash flame lash... bats.... dead. Now it's some proc set. Even if they ever took out proc sets baddies will still die and baddies will still be on the forums.

Reflect was op in the past yep.
And someone who wrote that things did and do useful thing by writing about disbalance problems.
Its good for all of us, because only right hands will be op in such case.
Balancing things which make your skill in gameplay useless = enjoy from learning and playing.
If u not agree, maybe try to play vs someone with "bot" as we all saw during ~ 1 week few month ago when Zos removed defencse from it (ultimate-spammers, who were banned after this but they thought that it's fun). Will u enjoy?
