AI Research Grid not refreshing reliably

I want my main crafter to create items for my alts to research. I've been using AI Research Grid to keep track of where they're at but I've repeatedly run into the problem of AIRG not refreshing its data reliably so that I craft items with traits my alts already know. It's not every time, but it's happening often enough to have become really irritating. I've got a screenshot showing this, the alt is at the Blacksmith station and has clearly researched Cuirass Divines but AIRG is not showing it. I did a /reloadui and only then AIRG refreshed and correctly showed that Cuirasss Divines had been researched.

I don't mind logging in with each of my alts before getting to my crafter, not least because I need to trigger each alt's hirelings anyway, but if AIRG isn't going to autorefresh properly then it's got a problem. I'm curious to know whether other people have seen this behaviour.

"Instead of taking the best of the dolmens (predictable rotation), the best of the geysers (scalability based on number of players), and the best of the dragons (map location and health indicators) and adding them together to make a fun and dynamic world event scenario, they gave us....... harrowstorms." https://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en/discussion/comment/6850523/#Comment_6850523

I have had that problem also. I switched to using Trait Buddy instead.

Trait Buddy doesn't keep track of what motifs you know like AI Research Grid does, but the achievement interface does that. I haven't had any issues with Trait Buddy so far.

I just switched to Trait Buddy so here's hoping. You'd think that by version 7 the AIRG people would have realised they had a problem.

Trait Buddy has been much more reliable than AIRG. However, if I have sold items whilst logged out then Master Merchant is colliding with Trait Buddy when loading the first character. Trait Buddy is losing out because MM uses a lot of resources to generate its notifications. If I haven't sold anything then MM loads quickly and Trait Buddy gets to do its own notifications.

I'm not sure what to do about this because I need both. Some kind of staggered loading system would be best but I don't know if that's even possible here.

I've had that same issue with AIRG since the beginning.

Now I just use it as an unofficial stupid reference at a glance rather than an actual record to consult.

When I need to do actual research I log into 6 of my 9 'toons still doing research and pencil/paper what I'm going to make while standing at a crafting table.

PITA, yeah, but it got to be too annoying to trust anymore.
The problem with society these days is that no one drinks from the skulls of their enemies anymore.
