My house and yard look ok, but I had to get rid of most of my tiny details like dishes, food, candles, so it just looks unlived-in. If there are no performance issues, then definitely increase the limits for both non plus and plus.
I consider the present limits fine for the newly launched housing, and I've no doubt they will be raised as performance is enhanced. However, bear in mind that it isn't just about furnishing limits, a lot of people are also concerned about player limits and the two are interlinked performance-wise. Then again, people want also storage in their houses. Everything comes down to what the database server can handle smoothly. Things will improve over time I'm sure, they always do with this kind of thing.
Personally, I have no interest in the furnishing or player caps or in using my houses for storage. I'd just settle for being able to exit a house into the open world more quickly!
I appreciate your response, but they did acknowledge a couple times on how well the servers were handling everything. They also admitted that they made the item cap extremely low just to make sure performance was ok. The fact that they did not increase anything with this expansion is pretty sad. 82% of over 250 votes are in agreement with that.

When they make additions/improvements to the housing system, as they have said they will, I would be very surprised if it was as part of a major non-housing chapter/base game change. My guess is that they'll issue a housing update later in the year which among other more substantial things will raise the various caps.
As for the poll, asking people if they're happy with the number of housing slots to furnish their home is about as useful or meaningful as asking turkeys if they're happy with Christmas (or Thanksgiving depending on which side of the pond you're on). I imagine you'd get more than 82% of turkeys saying "no" to that one!

There shouldn't be a cap on collectibles at all, why is there even a cap on these? If I want to decorate my house with ALL the Trophies/Busts I have accomplished in game I should be able to!
If I want to turn my house into a freaking Zoo with all the mounts and pets I bought of the Crown Store with actual money I should be freaking able to!
Just let me fill my house to the rim with Guars

Valid response. It is still beyond ridiculous that ZOS purposely holds back on things like this just to give future updates more equity.

Don't give them any more awful ideas.

try it with only 300 slots....
*sniffle*

Once they go higher, it will be very difficult to lower the max if performance suffers. They need to be cautious.
