This is not true regarding master writs. Since Homestead they are tagged (sort of), and you need to craft your own food for master writs. That "sort of" tagging means that when you receive food it knows the maker. But if you make same food yourself, they all are tagged to you and original maker is wiped away.You know that food items aren't tagged to indicate who made it, right? Your character could get 8 jug rabbit from anyone and be able to turn in the writ.

@helediron @JKorr
Thanks for correcting that. I've had three master provision writs ever, and every time they procced as immediately able to turn in based on food I was carrying (two were for c150 food, one for drink...ones my characters all carry standard). I must have just been opening the writ with the character who made that food by chance.
(Ps, zos, the drop rate on these still stinks. My crafter took the time to learn 98% of the recipes in the game...can we get some higher-paying random drops on these??)
